"If only it were that easy" Markus sighed, "He thinks that I need to socialize more, and I have tried telling him that I need space…but he is stubborn" He shook his head. Honestly by now he would have went back to his cabin, or somewhere away from so many people, but there he was, talking about his problems, to someone he barely knew.
Amelia grinned, despite herself. "You say that now." She shook her head laughing. "When I was young, one of my nannies pissed me off for gods knows why, so I decided to dump several gallons of glitter all over her things. She quit on the spot. Something about me being a spoiled brat."
She would never deny that she wasn't spoiled. She was. She got just about everything she wanted and she wouldn't settle for any less. She knew her worth.
"Looking back now, it probably wasn't worth it. But it got my father to stay home with me for a week so maybe it was. Even if he was furious me. It's not like he didn't make enough money to take a little time off."
He put his hands up in surrender as he chuckled,
"alright, you got me. I surrender, I don't want all my stuff doused in glitter." He grinned at her still, eventually taking his hands down and shoving them into his pockets. He frowned a little bit when she talked about how her dad finally stayed home with her even though he was mad though he tried not to let It show all that much.
"Your dad..is he that busy that he can't just spend time with you?" He asked, wondering. He probably knew the answer to the question though.
(He dosent have an interaction and he's just chilling in the dinning hall)

Amelia look up at him, confused he was asking her about her father. It wasn't really a subject she wanted to talk alot about. She ran her hands through her hair, a nervous tick.
"He's a successful business owner. He has things to do. Companies to run and money to make. I wasn't part if the equation. I was an unhappy surprise." She shrugged her shoulders. "I'm surprised I wasn't put in foster care. It doesn't matter now. I stay out if his life and he stays out if mine."
She always put up this hard front when it came to her dad. She pretended it didn't bother her. But in reality, it hurt. It hurt her a lot. But she never let it show.
(i made Eden interact with Adin at the dining hall a few pages ago🧍)
Dove looked back at Wendi and chuckled. “Ahh, I have a feeling that Ares and Athena will try to fight over the Hecate cabin. Having influence over the Mist would be a serious advantage.”
She went back to eating, but soon sighed. “Um… Wendi. I’m sorry I kinda… barged I’m earlier. I hope I didn’t disturb you.”
"You're fine," Wendi quickly responded to Dove's apology. She figured it was the perfect time to apologize back, "Actually, I'm sorry for snapping at you. Just because I was having bad day didn't give me the right to do that."
“Oh, so it wasn’t my fault?” Dove asked. Here, Ash touched her shoulder again. “Dove, why would it be your fault? Don’t blame yourself for things that you didn’t do, remember?”
“Ah, yeah I just…” Dove trailed off. “You know…
"No, it wasn't your fault at all Dove," Wendi reached across the table to take Dove's hand. Her eyebrows were furrowed because in her moment of panic had forgotten about how sensitive Dove could get. She decided to reiterate, "It wasn't your fault at all. I had been having a bad day long before you came to check up on me. And I was so in my head when you did I lashed out at you. So please, don't think it was your fault."

He nodded, though he almost couldn't help but feel a little bit of jealously.
He knew it was stupid of him, but he longed to see his mother just one More time, and Amelia had her dad still alive but niether of them seemed to want a relationship.
He put a hand on his neck and looked away, trying not to be bitter as he spoke to her.
"I'm guessing that's why you stay here all year round then? No use going back and trying to have a relationship with someone who didn't want you in the first place."
He looked ahead of them to the dinning hall.
Amelia shrugged her shoulders. "It's just easier, being here. I have siblings who all support me. A barrier to jeep me safe from monsters. Sure it's nothing like the mansion I grew up in, but it's more home to me than that house ever was."
She climbed the steps to dining hall. "You'll keep this between us, right? I don't need sympathy. Or campers asking for money."
She wasn't sure why she was being so vulnerable with him. She had never once laid out her life story for anyone. Yet she couldn't see herself doing it with anyone else. She felt safe with Wynn. Something she hadn't felt in a long time.

"That's good then…that you have a home here that you feel you can be relaxed about."
He nodded to her as he walked up the stairs to the dinning hall alongside her.
"Yeah yeah, I won't tell anyone.you don't have to worry about me."
He sighed softly as he moved to open the door for her.
"Here, just head on in.'
Amelia gave him a flirtatious smile, flipping her hair over her shoulder. She settled back into her child of aphrodite role. "Oh, such a gentleman," she crooned.
She walked through door. She gave him a little finger wave. "I suppose I'll see you around, Wynn. Try not to stay up too late thinking about me. You'll only stroke my ego."
She sauntered off, swaying her hips more than usual. She grabbed a plate of food, giving her sacrifice to her mother. She sat down at a table with her siblings, shushing their giggles.
(are there any Apollo kids or something that Luc can interact with? Or someone I can slide Con in to interact with?)
(Wynn just separated from Amelia if you want to interact with him)
He rolled his eyes, but their was a smile on his face as he did so. He shook his head before making his way over to where the food was, putting food on his plate before sacrificing to his dad and then getting himself a drink before moving to sit down at a near empty table since most of the heph kids decided to skip dinner or sneak in later.
Most liked staying in the forge and building Weapons then eating.
Wynn was more of a social butterfly them most of his siblings.
“Um— niño—“ Aviv’s eyes widened in surprise. He didn’t want to go into the pavilion at all, frankly, but it seemed he had no choice. And, well, there was food. They adjusted their glasses and tried his best to look small and unnoticeable. Then he remembered he could turn invisible, and did just that.
He just went on holding his blanket and Avivs hand as he made his way through the line of food and drink.
He grabbed a plate and pilled on some mashed potatoes and some chicken nuggets because they looked like they tasted good. Then he moved to grab some green beans because homeboy likes his greens.
He moved to grab some apple juice before moving to sit down.
Con had come in late, behind Wynn and Amelia. The big young man looked like an Athena kid, and often got mistaken for one. It was endlessly amusing to him, when people turned to him and assumed Athena, and then no, it was Ares. His godly parent was Ares, but he looked like an Athena kid. Before he had been claimed, Chiron had expressed confusion that Con had a mortal mother, when he was so clearly an Athena kid. And then Ares had claimed him. His sword was, as always, belted at his side. He grabbed some food, scraping some into the fire in a sacrifice for his father. His eyes landed on the Hephaestus table, and on the very few kids sitting there.
Wynn looked up when he felt someone's eyes on him, and noticed it was some big guy that was probably also late like the two of them were.
He couldn't tell who's kid he was though he looked like an Athena kid at the very least. He just shrugged and went back to eating his food and drinking up his water. He was pretty parched after the beach.

(Oops. Thought I answered.)
"Maybe you do need to socialize more, maybe you don't. Try finding a friend that isn't your brother and he might get the hint to back off." Nicolas shrugged. "I have a feeling you are just as stubborn as he is, if not more. Prove to him you don't need his hovering."
Con sighed faintly, plopping down at the Ares table. He could still see the Hephaestus table from where he was. He wasn't sure which cabins had chosen sides, yet. Wasn't really even sure if his own cabin had chosen yet. They probably had, knowing his half-siblings. They tended to be over-eager, and really, he couldn't blame them. Who wouldn't be? Capture the Flag was the only time that the Ares kids really got to let loose, and even then they couldn't let loose quite as much as thye would like.
