"No, it wasn't your fault at all Dove," Wendi reached across the table to take Dove's hand. Her eyebrows were furrowed because in her moment of panic had forgotten about how sensitive Dove could get. She decided to reiterate, "It wasn't your fault at all. I had been having a bad day long before you came to check up on me. And I was so in my head when you did I lashed out at you. So please, don't think it was your fault."
Dove was quiet for a moment before she nodded. “Right… sorry.”
Ash sighed. “Why are you apologizing? Dove, seriously. You haven’t done anything.”
She blushed and smiled sheepishly. “I don’t know at this point.”
Ash just shook his head and finished eating the napkin he’d been nibbling on.
“Um— niño—“ Aviv’s eyes widened in surprise. He didn’t want to go into the pavilion at all, frankly, but it seemed he had no choice. And, well, there was food. They adjusted their glasses and tried his best to look small and unnoticeable. Then he remembered he could turn invisible, and did just that.
He just went on holding his blanket and Avivs hand as he made his way through the line of food and drink.
He grabbed a plate and pilled on some mashed potatoes and some chicken nuggets because they looked like they tasted good. Then he moved to grab some green beans because homeboy likes his greens.
He moved to grab some apple juice before moving to sit down.
They followed after him, using his free hand to grab a plate and food for themself. Every time he came by here he wished there was something familiar, maybe their grandmother’s Peruvian cooking, but there was none. They just got something similar to what Noah chose, staying invisible all the while as they followed him to the tables.
Wendi let out a little laugh at Dove's sheepish smile. It was quiet laugh meant more for herself and to be with Dove, "Well stop. You've done nothing wrong."

(Could you @ me? I didn't see it)
(let's pretend their previous interaction never happened)
"Well, I suppose I can ask them if no one else is going to do it," Eden said as she stood up from the table.
"Good luck," one of her siblings said and she rolled her eyes. If they said no, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Sometimes they really were dramatic. Eden walked over to where Adin was sitting with the rest of his siblings. "I'm Eden and I hope I'm not interrupting anything. But the rest of my cabin was wondering if you and the rest of your cabin wanted to team up with us for the tournament?"
Adin looked up when he heard a voice talking to him and offered a cheeky smile to the girl standing next to him.
"Well what exactly do you guys have to offer us in exchange for us helping you?" He spoke, knowing that his cabin mates would want to know same as him.
They followed after him, using his free hand to grab a plate and food for themself. Every time he came by here he wished there was something familiar, maybe their grandmother’s Peruvian cooking, but there was none. They just got something similar to what Noah chose, staying invisible all the while as they followed him to the tables.
Noah didn't really know where to sit since he didn't really have many friends besides Aviv so he moved to one of the practically empty tables and sat down with his plate and blanket.
He patted the spot next to him for Aviv and moved to start eating the food on his plate.
Aviv sat down next to him and begin eating as well. He did not get up and throw a bit of food into the pyre like the other campers did. These were not their gods, so why should he get up and sacrifice his food to them?
They looked at Noah, a little worried for him. “Noah,” he said quietly, even though he wouldn’t be able to see him, “why don’t you sit with the children of Hypnos? I’m sure you would fit right in with them.”
Wendi let out a little laugh at Dove's sheepish smile. It was quiet laugh meant more for herself and to be with Dove, "Well stop. You've done nothing wrong."
“Right, right,” Dove said quickly, nervously holding a hand to her arm. “Well, in any case, I’m glad you told me what you did.” She ate a few more bits of her food.
"Maybe you do need to socialize more, maybe you don't. Try finding a friend that isn't your brother and he might get the hint to back off." Nicolas shrugged. "I have a feeling you are just as stubborn as he is, if not more. Prove to him you don't need his hovering."
Markus shrugged, "Finding a friend isn't that easy…" He glanced around, "and yeah…I can be a bit stubborn. But I'm sure he is more so." He shrugged.
"Well then it sounds like you're out of luck then." Nicolas leaned back and crossed his arms. There was nothing he could for someone who fought him on every suggestion.
"I am not against finding a friend, but I am not going out of my way to get one" Markus shook his head, "but if someone wanted to be my friend, I might give them a chance"

"Of course," Wendi replied with a bright smile. She then went back to her food.

He continued to eat his food as he heard Aviv speaking to him even though he was still invisible.
"Why..? I don't know any of them." He spoke, continued to eat up his food and rub his tired eyes. He pulled his blanket closer on top of him and around him as he let out a yawn.
He drank some juice before continuing to eat his food.
“It’s just….” He sighed. “I want you to have friends, and I can’t be the only one you have. You can’t be around me forever, right?”
He stopped eating, suddenly losing their appetite. They were afraid of Noah leaving them alone, but at the same time he wanted the boy to have a sense of community here. He had heard of a camp for children of the Roman gods, though. Would it be better there? They weren’t sure.
Dove fell quiet, letting a contented silence fall over them and her nervousness to wash away. Soon, she finished her meal, and leaned on Ash’s shoulder.
he frowned when he heard aviv sigh, and then listened to him talk. "why? what if i want you around forever? why do i have to make friends with strangers?"
“You don’t have to,” Aviv said, “I just think it might be best if—“ he paused. “You… really want me around forever? Even though…” they drifted off, thinking of Jaci Jaterê’s small cottage, the time they spent together. “You haven’t known me for that long…”
(…I MEANT FOOD! HOW DID I MISS THAT FOR DAYS!)
(OH NO)
(AHHHHH anyway she goes back to eating her fooood. Not room. She's still vibing at the table.)
(Okay, I’ll edit my response when I can)

"Mhm! I trust you…you seem, familiar to me..even before I met you. I don't know why, but I figured it means that we were just meant to be friends you know? So why stop being friends?"
