Wynn made his way from the forge down to where Amelia was currently laying out, he dropped his towel in the sand and took off his shirt. He used it to wipe some grease off his face before he dropped that too. Totally not showing off his toned body or anything.
He moved to head into the water, splashing Amelia as he did, swimming and washing his face and body a little bit before just allowing himself to float on his back and relax.

Amelia peeled through her sun glasses as she heard movement besides her. It was nothing, just a dirty Hephaestus boy who seemed to make it his life mission to irritate the crap out of her. She settled back into her towel, making a point not to look at him. Definitely not.
What Amelia was not prepared for, was the buckets of water (okay that was a bit exaggerated) to be splashed on to her.she sat up, pulling off her sunglasses. "Can I help you?" She gritted out.

Wendi was supposed to be training with the rest of the Hecate cabin, but her half-siblings insisted she take the day off after a mild panic attack that morning. She honestly had been expecting it given most of the summer campers had left to go back to their homes already and the 5th year anniversary of her arrival at camp was coming up soon. What she, and no one else, had been expecting was the mist maze she had accidentally covered a majority of the camp in during her panic attack. So now she was sitting near the beach in her full purple sweater, jeans, and black scarf (that covered up her black ribbon choker) 'attempting' to relax instead of training.

Dove pushed through the Mist, walking up to Wendi with her bow and arrow still slung over her shoulder. She didn’t want to disturb her friend, but she at least wanted to check on her before went back to training.
“Wendi?” She called out softly.

While the Mist maze was gone, Wendi still kept a thin shroud of Mist around her to keep annoying campers away from her. She looked up when Dove called her name and then pushed the Mist away from her form. She let out a little sigh as she held her legs close to her chest, "Over here Dove."

He looked up when he heard Amelia's voice asking him if she could help him.
"Actually I was needing someone to scrub my back. Thanks for being so considerate." He spoke, being mostly sarcastic as he knew she wouldn't even get in if it meant her hair would get wet.
He moved to float around the lake as he spoke to her, not really looking her way for the most part.
"That is, i wouldn't want you to chip a nail, or get your hair wet." He said with a smirk.

Amelia curled her lip in disgust. As if she would want to touch his grimy and sweaty skin as it glistened in the sun. No. She most definitely did not want to touch him. And she was definitely not staring at the defined muscles he likely got from his long hours in the forge. Definitely not. "If you're trying to clean yourself, perhaps you should go shower. Not dirty up our lovely lake."
The lake in question was a murky, brown color that definitely would not be affected by one Hephaestus child taking a bath in it. Her hair in question was in soft ringlets down her back. She took great care of it. It was soft and silky. She took pride in how well she took care of her hair and skin. If she kept it up, she would look twenty when she was forty. Her nails were trimmed down and manicured. It was hard to shoot a bow with long nails. She took care to know when upcoming events were happening so she could file her nails down. Breaking a nail was painful.
"I'll have you know, getting my hair wet doesn't bother me," Amelia came to the shore, the small waves licking at her feet, "It's the water that does. And there's no way I'm soiling my hair with this water. Especially now that you've been in it."

Nicolas had found a quiet corner in the training area. he was working with his dual swords. They weren't something easily wielded and he was one of few at camp that attempted to use them. He wasn't training for the upcoming capture the flag game. Truthfully, he could care less about the game. Squabbling with a bunch of children running around with weapons and hurting themselves did not sound ideal. Some of those children were dangerous. They had no idea how to wield their weapons and thus were more in danger of causing permanent damage. So he typically tried to stay out of the way during the games. His shadow manipulation made that quite easy. It also made it easy to win as well. The sooner the game was over, the sooner he could go back to enjoying his lonesome self.

Noah snuggled into Avivs arms, pulling his blanket around himself as he slept. However he didn't remain peaceful for long, as he quickly started tossing and turning in Avivs arms. His brows creased on his face and he started tearing up, the tears dripped down his cheeks as she shook.

He panicked a little when Noah started squirming, and quickly took him into the forest. Laying him down in the grass, they adjusted the blanket around him and gently stroked his head. “Shh, shh,” he murmured, hoping whatever nightmare he was going through would calm.

@Tired-but-passionate

Dove followed the voice, and when she found Wendi, she sat down next to her. “Hey,” she said a little awkwardly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “Just thought I’d check in.”
It was easier to control her ability’s effects on other people during times like these. She just wanted to make sure Wendi was alright, and wasn’t so concerned if her feelings got her sick. Even still, she reminded herself to take deep breaths and stay calm.

He pulled his blanket close around him as he trembled from his nightmare. He jolted awake gasping for air as he nervously glanced around his surroundings before seeing Aviv and taking a second to recognize them from earlier in camp.
He just looked away And wiped his eyes.

@ShadeStar

"Hey," Wendi replied glancing at Dove as she sat down next to Wendi. She let out a long sigh as she banged her head against her knees at Dove's second comment. Wendi appreciated Dove checking in, but after this morning it just felt like more coddling. Her eyes were closed and she was trying not to let the Mist get out of control, "Just peachy. Having a great day. You know how it is."

He rolled his eyes as he floated in the lake.
"oh yes because that makes all the difference compared to just saying you don't want to get your hair wet."
He moved to tread water in the lake, looking at her while she moved to walk to the shore. He raised a brow as he looked at her moving into the shore line.
"Change your mind princess?"

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Amelia crossed her arms, looking down at him. She had an unamused face. "Besides, I just washed my hair. I've got anther three days until it's wash day again. I'm trying to mess that up."
The water came up to about her ankles now. Her toe nails were a freshly painted red. She wasn't too worried about them chipping. Her toe nails never seemed to chip on the color. She wore a black bikini, small as could be to try to eliminate tan lines. They were pulled up over her hip bones, showcasing her curve.
"No I have not changed my mind. Am I not allowed to stand now?"

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

"It's perfectly fine if you stand, though your not just standing. Your coming into the water, I thought it was too dirty for you?" He moved to stand up completely, the water up to his waist.
He had to admit that she was extremely attractive…though he would never say that he was looking at her that way, because he totally wasn't.
Then again, of course she looked good. She was an approdite kid.
One that he would never have a chance with.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

With him standing now, Amelia had to tilt her head up to look at him. She dropped her arms from her chest and cocked her hip to the side. "Now you're twisting my words. I said I don't want my hair to get in the water. That doesn't mean I can't dip my toes in to cool off a bit. And hair ties exist if I did decide I wanted to get in. Which I don't."
She squared her shoulders, trying to appear taller. She wouldn't let him think to intimidate her. No one could.

(I'm just gonna wait for an opportunity to have Eden interact with the others 🧍)

(You can post a starter and someone could always jump in. A couple of us do have more than one character.)

(ok ^^)

Eden had been sitting on a towel, watching her half-brother and cabinmate Coral fighting with an animal on the beach. The boy had been doing this for the past hour and a half, and even if Eden tried, she wasn't sure she could convince him to drop his weapon and get his ass on the towel. She didn't feel like training today, even if the rest of her siblings thought it was the perfect time to do so. Yeah, she could probably use some more practice on some things, but today was a day to relax and sit under the sun, soaking up the last summer heat. She could always convince someone from another cabin to train with her, or maybe even get a training session from Chiron. But while sitting under the sun was neat and all, she had to admit that she was feeling a bit bored. Perhaps she would go bother someone from the Apollo cabin. Or maybe play a little prank on the Aphrodite cabin.
