"Yeah, it's fine. I just got scrapped by a bullet," Kasey said with a shrug.
"Yeah, it's fine. I just got scrapped by a bullet," Kasey said with a shrug.
"Do you need anything for it?" Liam asked, biting his lip.
"No, I cleaned it up at the hospital," Kasey said. "It should be fine."
"Alright, if you're sure." Liam replied, taking one last wary glance at it before relaxing back into the couch.
(I'm sitting in a church with my friends, waiting for something to start…)
"It's fine, Liam," Kasey assured him with a laugh. "I've had worse."
(Ooft, I'm still lying in bed)
"I know, I know. I need to remember that more often." Liam said, laughing with her.
(Lol. I'm sure you were. It was evening for me and morning for you!)
"Well, hey, it's not like I go looking for trouble. I just so happen to end up in the middle of it," Kasey said, half jokingly.
(ah… it's past midday and I haven't moved, usual Saturday for me lmao)
"That is true. If you went looking for trouble I would be very concerned." Liam replied, smiling a little.
(Ohhh, so you're ahead of me. Duh. I should have known that. I've been here since 8:30ish this morning…)
"Well, it's a good thing I don't, then," Kasey laughed. She sighed a bit and tested her head on Liam's shoulder gently.
(Aha yeah, time is weird, I actually haven't eaten anything which is bad so I should go find something…)
Liam let out a breath and rested his head on Kasey's, wrapping and arm around her too, "If you did I'd keep you locked in your apartment."
"Then how would I be able to save people?" Kasey asked softly.
“Magic? I don’t know. Luckily, it won’t happen.” Liam replied, yawning.
"Do you need to sleep? I can go if you want," Kasey offered without lifting her head.
Liam shook his head, “No, no it’s fine. You don’t have to go.”
"M'kay… What should we do?" Kasey asked, snuggling closer to Liam.
"Wanna just watch a film or something?" Liam suggested, pulling Kasey closer carefully.
"That sounds good," Kasey agreed. "You have popcorn?"
"I should do," Liam gentle stood from the couch and handed Kasey the remote, "I don't care what you put on, horror would be my preference." He added, before walking to the kitchen to make the popcorn.
"Ugh, no thanks. I get enough horror to last a lifetime in some of my dreams," Kasey admitted with a shudder. "What about a comedy?"
"Have you ever watched Sleepless in Seattle?" Liam asked, putting the popcorn in the microwave.
"No, but I've heard of it. Is it good?" Kasey asked.
Liam smiled, "I'm not usually a fan of rom-coms but this one is great." He said, bringing the popcorn over.
"I'm willing to watch it if you are," Kasey said, grinning at Liam.
Liam grinned back, "Perfect, I think you'll like it… hopefully." He said, putting the film on.
"I'm sure I will," Kasey agreed softly, moving closer to Liam. "A rom-com with you? Plus popcorn? I think this is a pretty good way to celebrate your release."
