"I'm going to step on her someday, mark my words it'll happen." Liam said, laughing slightly.
"I'm going to step on her someday, mark my words it'll happen." Liam said, laughing slightly.
Kasey grinned as she used her foot to gently push the kitten away. Quake meowed before going to her food dish.
"She's so silly," Kasey said, shaking her head with a smile. "Ginger was very relaxed, while Quake loves attention and will do anything to get it."
"Mortem is like a mix of both." Liam commented, shrugging a shoulder.
Kasey looked up at Liam.
"Do you want to go check on him, now?" she asked, giving him a small smile.
Liam nodded, "Yeah, he'll probably just meow for food though." He said, chuckling.
"It'll be good to see him, though, I'm sure," Kasey said with a slight laugh.
Liam nodded and walked back to the door carefully. His back had started to hurt again but he didn't want Kasey to worry. Once back at his apartment, he smiled when Mortem greeted him, meowing.
"Hi buddy, I know I've been gone for a while, sorry." He knelt down and stroked his cat.
Kasey followed Liam over to his apartment. She smiled when she saw the cat and bent down next to Liam to pet Mortem.
After a few moments, Liam stood, wincing slightly but made his way into his apartment. He hummed quietly as he refilled his cat’s food bowl.
Kasey saw Liam wince, though she hoped that it wasn't anything too bad. She didn't want to press him to tell her, but she just had to ask him.
"Hey, Liam?" she called softly. "Are you doing okay?"
“Yeah, yeah… I’m doing fine.” He said back, forcing a small smile. He knew he shouldn’t lie, and Kasey could find out easily but he didn’t want to bother her or worry her further.
Kasey frowned slightly, but she didn't press further.
"Okay. Well, I hope nothing starts hurting, then," she said as she stood and made her way over to Liam.
Liam sat down in a chair and rubbed his face, “Sorry, I shouldn’t have lied to you,” He said, his voice slightly muffled by his hands, “I don’t want you to worry for me, more then you already do. I’m slightly sore but I’ll take some pain meds later.”
"It's okay, I get it," Kasey whispered with a small smile. She gently placed her hand on Liam's arm and rubbed it.
Liam placed his hand on Kasey’s and sighed, “Sorry…” He muttered.
"It's okay," Kasey assured him softly. She bent down and kissed his cheek. "Do you want some alone time? I can go home if you do."
“I don’t mind, but I would like a shower since I haven’t for a few days.” Liam said, giving Kasey a small smile.
"Why don't you go do that, then? I can keep Mortem company while you're in there," Kasey said, smiling back.
“Alright, Thank you.” Liam placed a gentle kiss to Kasey’s forehead before heading to his bathroom to shower.
(You put the wrong character of mine this time. Lol. That's a first.)
Kasey smiled after him before she found Mortem. She sat down to pet him, murmuring random things.
(Sorry, I’m so tired)
Liam showered quickly and changed into something more comfortable. He didn’t practically care what Kasey thought. He was tired and sore. He walked back into the living room and sat back down, “That’s better.”
(Lol. It's okay. It's after 9 pm there, isn't it?)
Kasey stood and made her way to where Liam was sitting and sat beside him.
"I'm glad you're okay," she said softly.
(Yeah, pretty much 10 so sorry if I disappear, it’s cause I went to sleep)
Liam lent back in the chair and gave Kasey a smile, “I’m glad Matt didn’t injure you too bad.”
(It's fine, I totally understand. It's 7:30 in the morning here, and I'm in a hotel room with six others girls, so I'm off and on.)
"Yeah, me too," Kasey sighed, her hand going to rub her arm. It was a little sore, but she didn't notice it as much as she was worried for Liam.
"Is your arm okay?" Liam asked, sitting up so he could take a better look at it.
