“Just spare supplies, normally.” Calista shrugged as she started leading the way. “But there should be one close enough or one we can make work.” she added, casting a slight smirk over her shoulder. “Think of it as a challenge.”

He coughed starting to wake when they left rubbing his head "w-what…the hell happened.." he got up and saw the recpetionist and froze "did…i do this…" he placed his hands over his helmet "oh god…i hope I didn't do this to calista…"

Hawkin smiled and flicked the droid's limp arm. "Sounds cool. I don't think there's a machine too difficult for me to figure out. I can see what it's supposed to look like in my mind. and I can see how to put it back together. It's really cool."

viper

"where is calista anyways…" he walked around to looked for her disarming his whistling bird and flamethrower as he felt to dangerous with them as he knew he did this and wanted to make sure he was safe as well as calista

he glanced at the security person watching over him and asked to walk towards palpatines old office when they said yes he walked toward the old chancellor's office turning towards the door the guard out of earshot "Great locked…looks too tough to kick down. I'll just go back to the lobby and wait" he walked back and sat down "Fives…was trying to tell us something at least that's what rex said… I thought he was crazy but I don't think so anymore…" he was fidgeting with his armor while he said this to himself

Calista chuckled a little, though she was impressed by his apparent ability. "You must be a very talented mechanic." she complimented as she already started to wonder if he was as good of a pilot.

viper

he glanced at the gaurd nervous was it that bad I need someone to watch over me…oh god..what happened…did I hurt Calista or someone else?… he thought images of all sorts of bad things going through his head he looked around no other traces of blood or the smell of sizzling flesh..maybe melted metal?…

Hawking shrugged.
"I learn fast. And I read a lot of schematics. I like learning about things I can fix or tear apart, or pick apart. I find that it calms me. But then that's where the flashes of memories start, and when that happens, I immediately go from calm to stressed, thinking that I might see something I'm not supposed to see. So, to fix that, I like to think of myself in a proverbial limbo, where I'm calm but stressed at the same time. It's such a weird feeling."

Calista gave a thoughtful hum at Hawkin's explanation of what he went through. If anything it just made her theory seem more possible. "I know the feeling." she admitted. "Not with mechanics or anything, I'm not that good at it, but when I'm trying to be calm… there's often a feeling that tries to pull me out of that. It's one of the reasons I meditate. It helps me to stay more in control of those things."

viper

"wheres Calista" he asked the guard wanting to get these thoughts out of his head and wanting to make sure she was fine "And is she ok?…" he mumbled worried as something almost always happens to the people he loved both sibling-like love and friendship Love never like an actual love his brothers some of the mandolarions he trained with went through his head and the clones were calling him a traitor to the empire

Hawkin shrugged.
“I should probably try meditating at some point in my life. I heard the benefits are decent. Now I do have a question. What’s gonna happen to the guy who shot the receptionist? Was it his fault, or did something make him do that? The way he was acting, it looked like he was fighting something. Like he was there, but not all the way.”

(I can be the guard.)

"Calista Veran should be back soon. She was helping some kid with a droid." The security guard gave Jado a hard look. "Surprised you're so eager for her to question you after you shot at her."

Calista sighed and shook her head. "That was what we were going to look into before… I believe something was making him do that. As to what will happen to him, I'm planning on taking responsibility for him so we can find answers." she explained.

viper

"is she alright…." the guard could feel the death glare "I want to know if I accidentally caused her harm…" he wasn't pleased with the guard but understood why Calista put the guard to watch him "and that was not my fault…i don't know why this happens but it has happened before and I want to know if I caused that Jedi harm..unless you want to mess around with an ex-clone trooper.."

Hawkin scratched his head.
“As weird as it sounds, if the problem is mechanical, I can try to fix it. Like if he has a bad circuit or something shocking him, ya know? I’ve worked on guys who had prosthetics and modifications. Do you think that that’s what it is? Is some modification hurting him? And now that I’m thinking about it, who’s going to tell the receptionist’s family that he’s dead? That’s tough news.”

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

"As far as I could tell, she seemed fine." the guard shrugged, raising a skeptical brow at Jado's explanation. "Right… Ex-clone trooper. Next time you try to give an excuse, make it believable. Everyone knows the Clones died out from either the war or old age for some reason."

Calista nodded, interested in the possibility. "We don't know what's causing him to act that way, which is one of the reasons why we're here. But I don't know if Jado has any modifications but we can ask if he's awake when we get back." she answered, opening the supply room door. "All I really know about him is that he's a Clone Wars survivor and prefers the Mandalorian lifestyle."

viper

he chuckled "wow…your so stupid…how the hell did yall beat the galactic empire…if your so sure I'm not a clone ask me what leigon and what commander i was under…" 501st…Captain Rex.. he was so sick of this idiot he would have killed him but he didn't want to lose calistas trust as the receptionist was one that could not be controlled but the guards death could have

Hawking furrowed his brow.
“Does that mean he’s Mandalorian, or is he a clone? Either way, both people are either wiped out or almost wiped out because of the Empire. Would Jado, as you called him, fall apart? Is he human? Or an android? Or a cyborg? I’m not human so I get it. I look like one but I’m not. But I can pass for one. I understand though.”

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

The guard glared at the insult, tightening his grip on the weapon in his hands. "Asking what Legion you were in isn't going to prove anything." he pointed out shortly. "The New Republic has been working on recovering all kinds of files from the High Republic era. You could have sliced any Legion number."

viper

"your funny…" he looked at the weapon "what are you going to do shoot me..calista has to question me doesn't she… wouldn't be a very interesting interview if a blaster bolt was through my chest but if you want to try come on I dare you ill give you a head start by letting you aim while I reload…" he chuckled "as for the data slicing…I'm pretty sure every clonewars data file would be corrupt by now…"

"If I tell you that he told me that he's a clone, will you keep it to yourself?" Calista asked. "As far as I know, he won't literally fall apart but I doubt he's an android… I assume he's human considering what I know about the clones, anything beyond that you'll have to ask him." she admitted before raising a brow at Hawkin's last statements. "May I ask what you are then if you're not human?"

"You're pushing your luck." the guard growled back. "Any soldier could tell you there's plenty of nonlethal places that you can shoot." he added, resisting the tempting idea of following through with that threat.

viper

he quietly reloaded his whistling birds acting like he was fixing his armor up "so…are you going to try me…or will you stay at ease…" he glared at the guard "your move…" he checked the guard over "no armor..just normal civilian protection wow..this is quite terrifying.." he faked a shiver

viper

"youve got a blaster ive got nothing but my fists…" he fixed his flamethrowers ammo back up also fixing the armor on that side "wouldn't that go in your favor?…"
