He reloaded his blaster pistol and made sure this wasn’t a low charge mag “fine…I guess just if we get caught I’m gonna shoot them…not gonna deal with some mercenaries stopping by us…I need this information..” he spun the pistol and put it in the holster then did the same thing with his rifle
Calista almost wanted to tease him for being so prepared for the worst but held back for two reasons. The first was simply because she didn't want to be a hypocrite. She was hoping this would go smoothly but it didn't hurt to be ready if things went wrong. The second, and most important, reason she didn't say anything was because Jado had been a soldier. And she supposed he still was. He had been trained… he had been made to be a soldier. She wasn't going to add salt to that wound.
“I don't think we’ll have to worry about mercenaries.” she said finally. “Politicians, maybe but that shouldn't be too much of a problem. This information will mean a lot to so many.”
“You ready?..” he was glad she couldn’t see his face as he was gaining a small crush on her and he distracted himself by checking the wrist mounted flamethrower and the whistling birds (is that what it’s called?.) checking the ammo on both
(Yep, whistling birds are one of the Mandalorian weapons.)
"I'm ready." she confirmed. "We just need to find some transport. There's no easy way to just walk to the senate building and walking would take too long anyways." she reminded.
he sighed "right……how we get the….OH!! i know a base here that the jedi barely knew has some barc bikes to drive so lets take one" he went to take her to it "follow me..and we can arm our self you too make sure just in case…"
Calista was surprised by the mention of an apparently hidden base, though she wasn't surprised that the Jedi didn't know about it. Despite popular rumors, Jedi didn't know everything, much less everything that went on on the planet. "Did you forget?" she smirked as she tapped her side. "I'm always armed and hardly need more than my saber. But I do carry a small blaster in case I need it." she assured, following Jado to the base.
"alright" he entered the base and checked the charge on the barcs and smiled as they were fully charged "Hop on i'll drive unless you want to" he revved one up teasing her "do you want to leave it to the clone or drive yourself?…"
“I’ll let you drive there.” Calista nodded, climbing on the barc behind him. “And we’ll see what happens when we leave. But, if things go bad and we have to separate, no matter what happens, we meet up at your ship.” she instructed. “We can use that three-tap signal if one of us gets there first.”
"hold on tight" he drove out the base and drove quiet fast towards the senate building "you ok back there???" he shouted making sure she was fine as wind muffled his voice and slightly chuckling as he missed this

Calista held on tight as soon as Jado took off but she couldn't help smiling at the rush. “I’m fine.” she called back, tapping his shoulder.

“Don't worry about that.” she laughed, tightening her grip slightly, doubting that Jado could feel it through his armor.
he stopped in front of the building and looked into it and then looked up to palpitines old office "Quite the long hike…you sure your up for it" he teased but he knew she would but would respect the decision if she did or not
Calista was already climbing off the bike as soon as Jado pulled up to the Senate building before he asked his question. “What afraid you can't keep up?” she quipped back with a grin. “You would not believe the training I went through when me and my Master were in hiding.”
"wanna race" he chuckled "which is faster the clone built for war or the jedi who just became a jedi knight" he teased but when he realized what he said he immediately apologized as he disrespected her "I'm sorry..that was quite rude of me…"
Calista raised a brow at the challenge, waving her hand at the following apology. "It's ok. I've been a Knight for a while anyway." she smiled kindly. "And while I wouldn't mind a race sometime, it'll be faster for us to go together." she pointed out.

Jado walked in and stopped when the person at the front desk asked for his reason here and for what they needed and he turned towards calista "you got a answer for that besides oh were gonna raid the old chancelers office for information?…" he whispered to her "or do you want me to shoot them"

Calista simply shook her head at him. Of course, she didn't want him to shoot some innocent person just doing their job! "He's with me today, Lorian." she answered the receptionist's question calmly. "We found some new information that we need to verify. Don't worry. We'll be well out of anyone's way." she assured, before casually guiding Jado past the desk and down the hall.
he followed "you know your way to his office?…" he said glancing back to see if the receptionist is watching "cause I do"
