Cat ate as well. She sat close to Aurelie turning to her when she finished eating.

Aurelie finished a bit after and turned towards Cat with a smile.

Cat smiled and kissed her. She then looked at the view of the town.

Aurelie laid back on her elbows and looked at the view. “You know all of the best places,” she exclaimed with wonder.

“I’ve explored a lot,” she said moving closer to her.

“I like that you show me all of these places so I can explore too,” Aurelie said honestly. “I didn’t really have that before.”

“Your welcome Amore. From now on I’ll show you all different kind of places,” she said kissing her on the cheek.

Aurelie smiled too, but there was a tiny bit of sadness behind it. I like Cat a lot, well, actually, I think I might love her, but what if someone else wakes me up from my enchanted sleep? she thought. No, I should stay in the moment and enjoy it just in case.

“You ok?” Cat asked e tilting her head slightly. She held Aurelie’s hand.

“Fine, just a bit worried about tomorrow is all,” she said, playing down her feelings as usual. She shook it off. She was supposed to be enjoying the moment.

“Do you want to talk about it?” She asked squeezing her hand lightly. She didn’t want to think about tomorrow but if it made Aurelie feel better than she’d talk about it. What if Cat kisses her and nothing happens? Or she can’t get into the castle?

“Not really,” Aurelie sighed. “I’d rather just enjoy the moment now, you know? I don’t want it to ruin this moment.”

Cat nodded. “Yeah I get it,” she said smiling at her.

Aurelie once again rested her head on Cat’s shoulder. “Thank you. Now, where were we?”

“I think I was kissing you,” she said kissing her cheek again.

“I can work with that,” Aurelie teased, lifting her head off of Cat’s shoulder and kissing her on the lips.

Cat kissed her back pushing away her worries about tomorrow.

It felt nice to kiss Cat. Better than nice. It felt amazing. Aurelie tried to forget her worries in Cat’s lips, kissing her slowly and passionately.

Cat kissed her as well. Going slow and keeping with her pace.

For a moment, time was suspended for Aurelie. She didn’t think about the future, only Cat’s lips on hers.

Cat pulled away and started kissing down Aurelie’s chin. “I love you,” she slipped out and then froze.

For a moment, Aurelie just stared at her. She’d almost said the same thing a few minutes ago. But what did this mean for her? She blinked, also frozen.

“I umm I’m not sure. Is that ok?” She rambled.

“Yeah, yeah. I…me too,” Aurelie muttered awkwardly. “I mean, I, um, I love you too.”

Cat smiled and kissed her.
