Aurelie gasped at the view. “This was so worth it,” she said excitedly, turning to Cat with a smile and pecking her on the lips.

Car smiled and kissed her back. ”I'm happy you think so. Hungry?”

"Famished, yes," Aurelie said, grinning. "You brought food? Stars, I lo–like you a lot."

Cat smiled. ” I like you too, ” she said hiding her slightly before pulling away. She opened the basket and brought out a blanket.

“So this is a picnic!” Aurelie exclaimed, like she had figured out some great secret. She giggled with excitement.

“Yep do you like,” she asked spreading the blanket out and resting the Basket on top of it.

“Um, I love!” she exclaimed. She sat down quite ungracefully, and took off the hood, brushing her hair out of her eyes.

Cat sat down next to her. Opening the basket.

Aurelie put her head on Cat’s shoulder for a minute, closing her eyes and trying to drink the moment in.

Cat nodded and took out two sandwiches. Handing Aurelie one.

Aurelie sat back up and unwrapped her sandwich, taking a bite. She waited until she swallowed before speaking. “Mm, this is good. What kind of sandwich is it?”

Cat shrugged. “Not really sure. I let Grace expire meant and make whatever she wants and in exchange I get a cheap price,” Cat joked and kissed Aurelie on the cheek. “It usually works out well.”

Aurelie laughed. “I would hope so,” she responded, taking another bite.

Cat opened her sandwich and ate ass well. “I have some cakes and pops if you want,” she said looking in her basket again. She took out two glass bottles of soda and set one down in front of Aurelie.

Aurelie struggled to get the cap off, but managed it after a few minutes of angry prying. She took a drink of the soda and beamed, the annoyance gone. “What kind of cakes?”

“I got a slice of chocolate and a slice of Vanilla. I like both so you can choose,” she said smiling. She took another bite of her sandwich.

“Vanilla is the best! Some people think it’s kind of plain, but I like it,” she added, happily, before taking another bite.

Cat nodded looking at her with a wide smile. “Ok we can have it after we’re done,” she said bringing a hand up to tuck a strand of hair behind Aurelie’s ear.

Aurelie smiled at her again. She finished up her sandwich quickly.

Cat also finished her sandwich putting her trash in the basket as she took out the cake. She took a sip of her soda.

Aurelie took a sip of soda as well. She had a few crumbs from the sandwich on her face but didn’t notice.

Cat smiled at how cute Aurelie looked. She wiped the crumbs from her face.

Aurelie giggled at that. “Thanks, love,” she said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

“No problem amore,” she whispered before kissing her softly and then pulling away. She handed Aurelie the vanilla cake.

Aurelie took it with a smile, eating it far less daintily than she would have if she were eating with the court.
