Aurelie kissed her back. Maybe this would be what if felt like tomorrow. Hope flooded into her. Could Cat wake her from her sleep? It was a question she’d been asking herself for a while, but maybe Cat was the one.
Aurelie kissed her back. Maybe this would be what if felt like tomorrow. Hope flooded into her. Could Cat wake her from her sleep? It was a question she’d been asking herself for a while, but maybe Cat was the one.
Cat smiled kissing her more. She wanted tomorrow to be like this. Hoping that she can just kiss her in the morning and everything will be great but she knew it will probably be more complicated than that. Nothing comes that easy.
Aurelie kept kissing Cat. She held the other girl almost like she was afraid that if Cat would disappear if she let go.
Cat held her close as well deepening the kiss.
Aurelie matched Cat’s intensity, feeling almost like the two of them were two pieces of the same person, as cheesy as it sounded.
Cat smiled into the kiss. Her arms around Aurelie.
Aurelie finally had to come up for air, but even as she pulled away, she was focused on Cat. She smiled at her, happier than she had been in a while.
Cat smiled back at her. Still holding her as they took a break.
Aurelie kissed down Cat’s jawline and neck softly, her hair falling into her face. She tucked it behind her ears.
Cat smiled and hummed softly at the kisses.
Aurelie continued kissing her, happy. She wished it could stay that way forever. And maybe it could. What if she just didn’t go home, and fell asleep here, with Cat? Then the other girl would kiss her in the morning.
Cat broke the kiss to breathe. she thought for a second. "How long do we have today? I'm guessing security is going to be tight tonight," She said hesitating slightly.
“Yeah, it is,” Aurelie agreed with a sigh. “Probably another hour or two, but not much more than that. My father will likely want to speak with me before too late, and he has a plan for how tomorrow is supposed to go.”
"How is it supposed to go? Becuase I still have my nurses uniform. I can probably sneak in," She said holding Aurelie's hand.
“Well, I think he wants me to get all fancy and ready for a ball, basically,” she began. “And then I’m supposed to fall asleep in my bed, and after he makes the announcement and my maids double check that I look sufficiently like a damsel in distress, he will let boys try for my hand. First princes and nobles, but eventually any young man will do. I’m sure you can slip in before it gets crazy.”
Cat nodded forming a plan in her head. "What do you think will happen if I wake you up?" She asked biting her lip slightly.
“I don’t know,” Aurelie responded, biting her lip. “I hope my dad will be happy that I found my true love, but he always talks about me finding a nice man and having children. So I’m not sure. I hope he’ll be okay.”
Cat nodded. "Yeah I hope," She said. She whent to kiss her again. Wanting to forget about tomorrow again.
Aurelie kissed her back, but it was difficult to get how her father might react out of her mind. She had to. She wanted to have this time with Cat.
Cat deepens the kiss. Still holding Aurelie’s hand.
Aurelie pulled back for a moment, unable to get tomorrow off her mind. “Maybe we should just sit here for a minute?” she suggested. “I can’t stop thinking about tomorrow. I’m so nervous.”
Cat nodded. "Yeah, we can. Don't worry though you know I've broken into the castle before I should be able to tomorrow," she said not really even reassuring herself. She could get in but what if the kiss doesn't work?
Aurelie nodded. “I’m mostly worried that I’ll be guarded closely, which might be okay if Eli can get you in. However, my father seems to think the two of us have some kind if secret romance going on or something, so that could potentially be a problem,” she speculated. “I’m sorry, I’m sure you don’t want to hear this. I was really trying. ot to think about it.”
“It’s fine I told you if you wanted too we can talk about it,” cat reminded her. Her hand went up and moved some hair out of Aurelie’s face.
Aurelie smiled at her. “I know, I still feel like I’m ruining our time together,” she said with a sigh. “But thank you for being so understanding. I don’t think I’ve spoken to my own father in days. You and Eli are the only people I know I can talk to without being judged for everything I say.”
