Cicada took his arm laughing. She thought for a moment before walking towards the math building, "I want to at least try. So this way, if I'm wrong please correct me."
Cicada took his arm laughing. She thought for a moment before walking towards the math building, "I want to at least try. So this way, if I'm wrong please correct me."
“Will do, missy.” Phoenix hummed, as he let her lead them on to the math building. He would adjust if they were going to wrong way. He wouldn’t want her being late because of him. “Now, What are you doing after classes?”
"I've got no plans, homework maybe," Cicada shrugged lightly as she kept walking. She made a light turn thinking this was a quick way to go, "Maybe take a nap. We'll see if I can do that. Want to hang out or something?"
"I didn't want to be so straightforward, but yeah. If you're up for it." Phoenix hummed, adjusting his bag strap awkwardly. "I don't want to push you, if you would prefer to stay home for the night."
"No, I want to hang out with you," Cicada went up and messed with her hair unconsciously. She really didn't think much about it, but she looked over at him smiling, "I really enjoy spending time with you. It's a lot of fun ya know?"
"You sure 'bout that? I've been told I'm the exact opposite." He admitted with an awkward laugh. "But as long as you're good, then I'll try and think of something for us to do."
"You don't have to think up something for us to do," Cicada responded with a bit of a laugh as she looked over at him, "Just hanging out and talking would be enough."
"You're sure? I wouldn't want to bore you." Phoenix told her, humming a bit. His smile was soft, as he glanced over at her.
"You won't bore me, promise," Cicada responded her smile soft as well. She was glad the two were going to hang out after school.
"In that case, I should still think of somewhere for us to hang out. I don't think we're allowed in each other's dorm rooms." Phoenix hummed, starting to get lost in thought. "Any… any ideas?"
"Any arcades nearby?" Cicada asked him as she kept walking towards the building. She checked her phone to see the time just to make sure she didn't need to book it, "That might be fun."
"I… I'm not sure actually." Phoenix hummed, trying to rack his brain. He only ever remembered going to places like Chuck E Cheese as a kid, but never really an arcade. "I'll have to look it up."
"Okay, I can do that too ya know," Cicada responded with a grin, "We can try kids places too. I don't think they're going to kick us out if we pay."
"Who knows, some people can just be plain rude." Phoenix pointed out, clicking his tongue. "Do you need to get there faster? Because I can run, and/or direct us to the math building."
"Yeah, also no. I'm getting us there just fine right?" Cicada asked looking over at him with crossed arms. She raised an eyebrow, "Also as to people being rude I'll just kick their ass and that solves that."
"Works with me. I'll just keep back." Phoenix hummed, smiling softly at her determination. "The only thing I have to say about you getting us there, is that the building is more in that direction." He told her, adjusting their stance at more of an angle.
Cicada sighed as she turned the angle and kept going. She had a grin on, "Well I was at least going in the right general direction. That's a good thing right?"
"Mhmm, you were just off by a foot or two." Phoenix hummed, smiling softly at her grin. "Not too bad, actually." With her leading them in the right direction, he felt better about them getting there on time.
"Well thank you," Cicada responded continuing to grin. She was definitely not going to be late now, and was glad Phoenix had corrected her.
"Don't mention it. It was just a small correction." Phoenix insisted, picking up his pace just a bit. "Anyways, possibly an arcade for tonight?" He asked with a raised brow.
"Definitely arcade tonight," Cicada responded with a bright grin on. She picked up the pace with him slightly glad since she might be getting close to running late, "I'll meet you by the main greenspace?"
"Works with me. I'll text you if I'm running late for any reason." Phoenix hummed, smiling softly at her grin. "Say, around 6 o'clock?" He offered her, glancing up and between her and the path.
"6 works for me," Cicada could feel her grin turn to a soft smile. She couldn't help it, "And I'll text if I end up running late, but let's just hope that doesn't happen."
"Unless you're getting to sleep. Then let's hope that happens." Phoenix chirped, yawning a bit at the mention of sleep. "I'd much prefer you sleeping, then hanging out with me."
Cicada yawned after Phoenix yawned. She shook her head and frowned slightly looking over at him, "Why'd you have to mention sleep? Besides, I doubt I'll be able to sleep anyways. Maybe tonight, but probably not this afternoon."
