Cicada let out a laugh as she watched Phoenix leave. She turned around and made her way to the first class of the day with a big smile on her face. She was glad he was the one she chose to befriend first.

(Shall we skip until later in the morning? After classes?)
(Yeah)
(Alright, give me just a minute.)
(Okay)
The next hour seemed to fly by rather quickly, and Phoenix was out of class sooner then expected. Maybe he had just enjoyed the math class, so it wasn't that big of a deal. As soon as he was out of the class, he shot a text to Cicada telling her to meet him up at the outside of the library.
Cicada had gotten out of class and just been enjoying the sunshine talking to some of her other classmates. She was trying to make more friends, but the moment she got Phoenix's text, she said goodbye and headed off to the library.
Once the text was sent, he had jogged off to meet her up. He didn't want to keep her waiting too long, but the library was further away from the Math building then the English one. Her waiting was going to be inevitable.
Cicada made her way over to the library. She waited for him on her phone knowing at this point he had a long way to go than she did. She looked up again and saw Phoenix and smiled to him, "Hey. How was class?"
Phoenix heard her voice, lifting his head with his own smile. "It was alright. Felt faster then it actually was, so that was nice." He hummed, crossing his arms over his chest when he came up in front of her.
Cicada looked up at him with a big grin since she really couldn't do it any other way. She stepped towards him and passed him, "Sooo what are we doing? We could go get lunch at the cafeteria or someplace off-campus."
"Anything is alright with me. What do you want?" Phoenix hummed, with a raised brow. He didn't have a preference, only cared what she wanted. As he said before, he'd go basically anywhere with her.
"Cafeteria?" Cicada suggested as she tilted her head slightly. She wanted to get out of him paying for her since they could both pay for themselves at the cafeteria, "And you can show me where it is, even though I already know."
"Yeah sure… am I now part tour guide as well?" Phoenix joked, holding his arm out to her with a teasing smile. Ready to lead her on, he stepped forward when she took his arm so they could go to the cafeteria.
Cicada was laughing as she took his arm and walked with him. She gave him a grin not minding the slight contact between the two, "Sure. You're my official campus guide until I know where everything is."
Chuckling lightly, Phoenix continued to lead her on at a steady pace. "Then maybe I won't tell you everything, so I have an excuse to be useful." With that said, he let a teasing smirk settle on his lips.
"Oh I'm sure you would find other ways to be useful," Cicada responded with a big grin. She let out a laugh as she caught his smirk, "You know like paying for food and holding doors."
"Mmm… but you won't let me do that all the time." Phoenix pointed out with a light laugh. He knew he could do those things, but it just didn't feel the same. "So, I need something like this for a little while."
"Well I like hanging out with you even if you aren't useful," Cicada told him with a smile. She really did, him being useful was just a little perk of their friendship at the moment.
"That's nice to know… what happens when I become a useless mess? Would you stick around?" Phoenix asked, not seeming super serious about the question. "Because if you say you won't stick around, just prepare yourself."
"Oh most definitely I would stick around," Cicada responded to him with a semi-serious face. Her answer wasn't meant to be serious but she wanted it to seem like it was, "My life you still be entertaining trying to keep out of trouble.
"Oh joy, when I'm a mess I can still be useful." Phoenix snorted a bit, rolling his eyes to match his sarcastic tone. Though once said, he returned back to his plucky self with a soft smile. "Anyways, the cafeteria is right up there."
"Got it," Cicada nodded with a slight smirk on. She knew where the cafeteria was, it also helped that it was in one of the largest buildings. For obvious reasons of course. She let out a laugh and let go of his arm so she could get ahead of him and open the door.
“Hey! I thought you just said I could be useful by getting doors!” Phoenix called out to her, jogging after her so he could get to the door.
Cicada laughed as she grabbed the door handle and opened it up for him out of breath, "Yeah, but you're not letting me pay for anything, so this is my way of being useful."
