Yanking down the mask down from over his nose, he gave her a soft smile. "Well, when you've counted the roof tiles to try and go to sleep, it's kind of a given." He laughed lightly, filtering the candy into his mouth. It was really good. Apollo hadn't eaten anything sweet for a long time. "We'll just have to be careful, when they realize we're sneaking out they'll lock the door. We won't be able to keep doing this."

@gracehustle

"I gave up on counting tiles a long time ago, so maybe that's why." She smiled and continued eating, savoring each piece and listening intently as he talked. "I guess our trips out will be few and far between then sadly, which means rationing out this delicious treat as long as we can…well, that can wait until the second bag, this one might not survive the next ten minutes." Davina's smile stayed and she popped the rest of the ones in her hand into her mouth, humming in clear happiness at having candy again.

"I'm good with that. I haven't eaten anything this good tasting in forever." Apollo told her, holding his hand out for more whenever. "Everything has been bland and dry. I feel it's just cruel to lock kids in the same building as sweets, and not let them have any. That's just unreasonable." Apollo sighed dramatically, slowly munching each peace.

@gracehustle

"It's more than cruel, it's straight up torture," She added, pouring more into his hand and helping herself to some more with an equally dramatic sigh, "And then on top of that they have the nerve to only serve boring and uninteresting food three times a day." She flopped backwards on his bed and ate in silence, once again savoring each candy she popped into her mouth.

"It's ridiculous they lock us up here, and don't even give us good food. We didn't even have a choice in the matter." Apollo mumbled, popping two or three in his mouth before flopping back next to her. "But hey, at least we have each other. I think I would have gone insane without at least one person to talk with." He admitted, turning his head to face her.

@gracehustle

Davina nodded, turning to look at him and smiling, "Yeah, having someone to talk to is much better than making friends with the lamp, they're too stuck up." Her smile grew at her joke and she waited for Apollo's reaction, popping some more candy into her mouth and trying to see if she could get her tongue to turn blue from the blue colored coating.

Taken aback he laughed lightly, running a hand through his hair. "I'd agree, but some of my best friends are lamps. One of them is a magic lamp." Apollo joked along, licking some chocolate from his lip. "This is the most sugar I've had in weeks. I'm going to make myself sick." He snickered, continuing to eat the sweets.

@gracehustle

(Oh gosh I'm so sorry I thought I had answered but I must not have ;-;)
"I can already feel the sugar rush set in," She agreed, giggling and picking through her pile of M&Ms in search of more blue ones. Davina slowly sat up and got to her feet, walking to the bathroom for a minute and laughing as she came back out with her tongue out. "It's blue," She said with a laugh, sitting back down and flopping backwards.

@gracehustle

(Totally fine! :D)
She shrugged and laughed, "Maybe.." At the start she had just ate them all, but she had slowly been picking out the blue ones as she ate more. Davina patted the tiny pile of other colored M&M's next to her, smiling and looking at him, "The blue ones are the best even though they all taste the exact same."

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"I disagree, green are the best." Apollo hummed, popping one of them in his mouth. "Blue are second place. In my opinion at least." He chirped out getting up to wash the dye off of his hands. "Those things leave stains like no other…"

@gracehustle

"We can make a trade then, any green ones I have are yours if I get your blue ones." She offered, watching him get up and staying right in her spot. Davina scooped a few out of her pile and popped them into her mouth, closing her eyes and just savoring the taste of extremely sugary candies, "Up for that trade, vending machine master?"

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

“Sounds like a good plan to me. Though I’m hardly a master, I just know a couple of tricks.” Apollo laughed lightly, padding his hands try on the soft towel. “That’s like saying You’re the master of card tricks, when in reality you just happen to know one or two tricks.”

@gracehustle

She shrugged, smiling lightly and looking up at the ceiling, "Im my opinion someone who knew even two cards tricks would still be the master of card tricks compared to someone who didn't know any, like me." Davina shrugged, rolling onto her side and separating the remaining green candies from her pile and sliding them over to where Apollo would sit so he could have them.

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"But still, for someone who knew more, wouldn't they be the master then?" Apollo asked, raising an eyebrow. Glancing down to the pile of green M&Ms, he laughed softly picking up the small pile to eat a few. "Mmm, thanks." He hummed thoughtfully, eating one at a time. "But back to my point, I'm no master."

@gracehustle

"That's true," She agreed, enjoying the debate and back and forth of the conversation, it just solidified the fact that she really enjoyed Apollo's company. "You're welcome. You are in my eyes though, until I learn more about vending machine tricks than you and I become the master." She looked over at him and smiled, popping the last of her other M&Ms into her mouth and looking around to see if there was any evidence that the two of them had just eaten a bag of candy.

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"Alright, fine. You win." He hummed with a soft smile before filtering the last bit of candy into his mouth with a soft smile. "Whatcha looking for? More candy?" Apollo asked with a raised brow, watching her gaze go between them and around the room. "Because we're saving the other bag for later. Right now we don't need more sugar."

@gracehustle

Davina punched her hand in the air in triumph when he said she won, shaking her head at his question, "No, I know we're saving that for later, I was checking to see if there was anything that let anyone know we were eating candy." As much as she was craving more sugar, she knew one bag was enough. Instead, she just stretched out on Apollo's bed, though kept to the bottom half of the bed as much as she could so he had some room. "What to do now?"

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"I'm not sure. Dispose of the evidence I guess." Apollo laughed lightly, laying down next to her with a sigh. "Then maybe take a nap… I should've been more careful how much I ate. My stomach feels funny now…" He mumbled, trying to ignore the pain he got from the amount of sweet he had just eaten. Normally it wouldn't have been a problem to have a little bit, but right now it was really bothering him.

@gracehustle

She smiled and nodded, feeling the same slight stomach ache he was probably feeling as her body retaliated for that much candy after not having any in a long time. "I can throw away the wrapper, and a nap sounds amazing right now. My body is not as happy about the candy as I am." Davina rolled over and sat up with a groan, grabbing the empty packaging and after getting to her feet, walking to the bathroom to throw it away. It took her two tried to get up, her knees buckling the first time and reminding her that she was still sick even if she felt better with a semblance of food in her system.

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"You alright Davina? Do you need help?" Apollo asked softly, getting up off the edge of the bed to go try and assist her. Holding out a hand, he watched her slowly stumble her way to throw the packaging away. "I could've have thrown it away for you. I should have offered." He mumbled the last bit, smiling at her softly.

@gracehustle

"I'm fine." She replied, waving a dismissive hand and throwing away the wrapper. Davina shook her head as she walked back, "My legs aren't broken Apollo, I can walk and throw a wrapper away." She cracked a smile and sat back on the edge of his bed with a soft sigh. "This..is the wrong bed." She mumbled, not wanting to stand up again but figuring he wanted his space when napping.

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

Snickering softly, he held a hand out to her with a soft smile. "I know your legs aren't broken, but I still want to offer to help." He hummed to her, not really thinking anything similar to what she was. If Davina asked, he would have just gone with her request. Though until she did, he was going to attempt to help her. Though she didn't need it, he wanted to be polite.

@gracehustle

This time she didn't refuse his help, taking his hand. Her legs once again decided to not work and her knees buckled and this time she had to catch herself by grabbing the mattress. "I'm fine," She said quickly, getting to her feet as she knew very well that he was going to comment again in some way. As long as her legs could get their crap together enough for her to walk the short distance to her bed, things would be fine.
