(I was eating M&Ms earlier, and I totally thoughts of this)
Apollo watched her and smiled softly. "If you feel like you're bothering me for taking over the bed, you're really not. You can take up as much room as you want, honestly." He told her, kicking his legs off the bed and laying down on the mattress. "I just tend to curl up, even if I have the space to stretch out."
"Don't say that, I'll end up taking up as much space as I can," She replied, laughing and sticking to where she was laying, "Even if that means you have to curl up in the sliver of space I leave for you." Davina smiled, glancing over at him now that he was laying down as well, "And then I'll have taken over two beds, which is one more than I need."
"I know that, but I don't want to make you feel like you have to get off. It's fine if you want to stretch out." Apollo insisted once more, turning his head over to her. He had a light smile up as he ran a hand through his hair. His mask had gotten taken off, so Davina would actually be able to see it. "It's really alright. I'll be fine." Insisting once more, he fell quiet after that.
Slowly, Davina stretched out, sticking to the side of the bed but gently shifting so that she was just laying down. "I really should go back to my bed… before I fall asleep here," She said, a hint of a smile on her face as she glanced over at Apollo, "Your bed is comfier than mine is though."
"I'm not kicking you off," Apollo hummed, smiling a little. If she would rather sleep on his bed, that would be fine with him. He honestly didn't care, as long as she was happy. "You can sleep on my bed, if I can borrow yours." He insisted as he rubbed at his eyes. Unable to help himself anymore, he was growing rather tired.
"No..I'll just go back to my bed," She replied with a matching yawn, a small smile on her face, "I don't think you would get very good sleep if you're fighting over a bed with me." Slowly she sat up, swinging her legs off the bed and smiling at him, not quite leaving, "I'll take over your bed tomorrow again."
"You're sure? I really don't want to kick you off." Apollo insisted, sitting up as well. Pulling his knees up to his chest, he rested his chin on them. "I got plenty of sleep last night, a little less tonight shouldn't bother me." He insisted, looking over at her with his bigger eyes.
Davina couldn't help but let her smile grow, a faint blush on her cheeks, "If you don't mind sharing I guess staying here makes sense. I'm not going to kick you off your own bed either, so feel free to just tell me to go back to my own bed if you get sick of me." She swung her legs back up on the bed slowly, though didn't lay back down just yet.
"Considering we'll be stuck together for awhile, let's hope that isn't soon." Apollo chuckled a little, laying back down once she agreed to stay. "Because I can't really get sick of you now, and then three months later still be stuck with you. And I don't I'll actually ever get sick of you. You're too fun to hang out with." He insisted, keeping his eyes locked on her.
"You're really fun to hang out with too," She replied, finally laying back down and rolling onto her side so she could look over at him and talk, "I already know that getting sick of you isn't something that's going to happen in a long time. You're officially someone that I find impossible to get bored of, and that is a very high compliment for me to give."
"Is it now? Well, I must be special then." Apollo hummed with a little satisfied smile. He wasn't the kind of guy to be prideful of himself, but he really did feel special when she had said so. He clearly seemed a little perkier at the compliment she had given. "I'm taking that to heart, for sure. It's nice to feel this way."
Davina smiled happily, a light blush on her face as she relaxed onto the bed, shrugging lightly in reply. His bed was comfy, and even as she didn't want to, she found her eyes start to grow heavier, signaling that she was most likely going to fall asleep within a few minutes on his bed.
With her silence, he curled up and yawned again. Apollo had a feeling they were both pretty tired, so he wouldn't say anything more. If they fell asleep, they fell asleep. The needed it, anyways. Quietly he hummed to himself reaching out for his two pillows. Tucking one under his head, he offered Davina one.
"Thank you," She replied quietly, a soft smile on her face as she took the pillow and nestled it under her head. It definitely made it harder to stay awake with her head laying on a soft pillow, but she almost didn't mind. Sleeping sounded really good anyway, even if she felt bad for taking up room on Apollo's bed.
As they lay there, Apollo was starting to nod off. He couldn't stop himself. Though clearly he desperately needed the sleep. "Mm… no problem." He replied in a soft tone, getting comfortable in his position. He was content to sleep in a ball; he would have slept that way, even without her there.
Davina settled in as well, her eyes fluttering shut as she mumbled a barely audible, "Goodnight." She was extremely close to falling asleep, settled in completely, and letting the tiredness wash over her. It wasn't long before she was passed out, her gentle breathing being the only noise that came from her as she slipped into a dream.
(Do we want to skim over until the next day, or possibly a few days later?)
(Sure, either option works for me but a few days later option sounds better)
(Agreed. Any preferences on what we do throughout the day? Do we want to have it be the day he tries to comfort her after nightmares?)
(I don't have any preferences on what they do, and sure that works!)
(Alright, when I officially get back on, I'll write something up.)
The next few days had gone on, a lot faster than expected. But with the added company, it wasn't as miserable being locked in one room for multiple hours at a time. Apollo had definitely developed more and more feelings towards Davina, but he wasn't sure if it was vise-versa. There was a chance, he had picked out similar signs the feeling was mutual, but he couldn't be sure. And there was no chance he would just ask.
"What now?" Apollo asked lightly, pushing himself up off the floor with a sigh. "We're already running out of things to do. I'm starting to get more and more antsy."
Davina was absolutely sick of the four walls that made up their room. Apollo's presence though, she wasn't sick of at all, he made the days go by faster and she had yet to admit that she had a crush on the curly-haired boy she was sharing a room with. She had no clue if he felt the same, and she wasn't going to risk ruin their friendship and admit her feelings to see how he felt towards her. "I have no clue..I'm out of ideas," She replied, splayed out on her back on the floor, clearly bored out of her mind, "Unless you want to go through with the escape plan we made."
"We should really wait on that. They'll lock us in here if they catch us." Apollo sighed, flopping back on his bed. "We could always make up a game. Or try and build a house out of those cards." He offered in a light tone. Even he was finding it hard to stay positive. He was sick of being stuck in here. The only good part, was Davina. And even that wasn't giving him much hope. He really wanted to stay close with her, but every time they touched he felt butterflies. But he kept it to himself. "I'm honestly running dry… wait. Maybe we could build a fort out of the blankets and pillows?"
