Killian frowned, and nodded. "I see…either way, it still may have happened to others. Since you don't know for sure, you can assume it has, and take them out. See?" he grinned.

Brainwave nodded, straightening her posture. ”You may be right, something about it did feel coordinated. Like they had done this before. Perhaps the only reason I got away was because I'm not a civilian.” she pondered in a thoughtful tone. ”There is something else that I'm not sure of but I suspect it may have been attempted…” she hesitated, refusing to make eye contact.

Killian nodded. "Alright." he replied with a shrug. "I'll help you if you want or need my help. Otherwise…" he shrugged again. "You can do what you want." he gave her a small smile, wondering why her behavior had suddenly changed, but not questioning it.

Jade took a deep breath and let herself relax a bit again. She was partially glad he didn't ask what she meant. She wasn't sure she could say it yet. ”I would be very thankful for your help, Killian. I… I don't know if I can face this alone yet.” she returned the smile a bit shyly.

Killian nodded. "Alright. When do you want to leave?" he asked, picking up his mask and putting it on his face. He grinned, looking like a bandit now. Looking like Hex.

Jade laughed comfortably at his eager antics. ”It’ll take a few minutes for Sparky to get here, so you'll have time to change out of your wet shirt and into full costume, if you want.” She smiled as she slid her arms back into her suit and picked up her helmet.

"Wait, who's Sparky?" Killian asked, taking off the mask and frowning a little. "Or What?" He raised an eyebrow.

Jade rolled her eyes with a smirk. ”Oh calm down. Your secret is still safe. Sparky’s just my bike… Well, he’s the A.I. in my bike.” she explained. ”I’ll make your home a hidden location on his systems.”

Killian nodded slowly. "Uh huh. Alright." He replied. "I'm going to go get ready." He said, leaving the room. "Don't mess with anything!" He called over his shoulder.

Jade shot him a playful glare before putting on her helmet. ”I won't.” she said through the electronic voice filter. She waited for him to be out of earshot before she addressed her vehicle. ”Sparky. Activate.”

”Engage autopilot. Set destination: street of current location.” she kept her programs short and simple until she made the next upgrade details.
//Locked on location.//
”Oh, and Sparky? New driver designation. Designate: Brainwave. Confirm?” she smiled softly as she set this command.
//Confirmed, Brainwave.//

Killian got ready, putting on his customary outfit for this. He hummed softly as he got ready, leaving his hair messy and uncombed.

Jade sat down on the couch with her helmet off, waiting for either Hex or Sparky to show up. With traffic Spark estimated 5 minutes to arrive.

Killian came back. He was dressed in black, along with a cape this time, and the half mask in place over his face. "Voila. Trying a new look today." He said with a grin.

Jade looked at him and smirked. ”Nice color scheme. But you still look like a villain.” she teased. ”Sparky’s on the way. Should be five minutes.”

"Same color scheme as normal." He replied. "I meant the cape." He wiggled it, grinning. "Alright. Is he big enough for two, or do I have to try and run and keep up?" He chuckled.

Jade chuckled. ”The cape really sells the point. No, you won't have to run, you’ll just have to hold on to me.” she smirked a little.

He smiled. "Good." He rolled his eyes. "Okay. Where?" He winked, smirking.

Jade scoffed playfully. ”Oh, please. The number of times we’ve physically grappled each other, I’m sure we felt one asset or another.” she raised a brow. ”As long as you don't try anything funny while I’m driving we should be fine.”

Killian smirked. "Well, there's a reason I wear a cup." He replied, still smirking. "And me? Something funny? Of course not." He chuckled.

Jade laughed heartily. ”As if I would resort to such a low blow unless I had no choice.” she reminded. Though I'm sure accidents can happen to anyone.

(i lied, I can still be on for a little bit. But idk how much longer)

Killian shrugged. "Yeah, that's true. But I still do anyway. Don't want to damage the family jewels." He smirked again, laughing.

Jade laughed a bit harder. ”Honestly, I never really understood that moniker for those.”

He sighed loudly. "I…do you really want me to explain?" He asked, cocking an eyebrow. "Actually, no, I'm going to explain. They're called the family jewels because… they're round like jewels. Ish. And you use them to make a family. Or at least, that's how I've always interpreted it. I might be wrong." He shrugged.
