He unconsciously wrapped an arm loosely around her, his lips parted slightly.
"Rhydar?" She said again, snuggling closer to him anyway, "I finished my drink, we can leave now." In her mind she wondered if he was purposely not answering her so they wouldn't have to leave right away and she smiled softly.
His breathing deepened, becoming steadier and slower. A typical sign that someone was sleeping.
Eventually, even her drunk self looked up at him and saw he was asleep. She sighed and glanced around the room, knowing she had to get home even though she wanted to let him sleep. "Hey, Rhydar." Jynna poked him in the side to wake him up, "Wake up sleepy."
He scrunched his nose as he slowly woke back up. "Damn, I fell asleep," he grumbled to himself.
"You tired at all?" She asked somewhat jokingly, a small smile forming, "I'm ready to go now if you want to leave."
"Yeah… Just gimme a sec to wake up…" He wrapped his arm tighter around her, lightly rubbing her arm.
She nodded and let the smile grow a little as she pressed herself against him more, "Alright sleepy."
"Hey, keeping you entertained is tiring work," he defended playfully. He smiled down at her.
She laughed and looked up at him, "I don't think I can deny that, I am a handful."
"That you are," he said with a wink. He then blew out a breath and threw his head back, feeling too lazy to get up. "I don't really want to move," he admitted.
“I don’t want to either..but I have to get back to my place eventually.” She sat up a little straighter and reached for her glass, frowning when she picked it up and remembered it was empty.
He chuckled when he saw her frown. "I see you finished off your second drink. Someone a little disappointed?" he teased. True, he had to leave as well. Guess it's about time they headed out anyways. Who knows when they're gonna show up.
She pretended to scowl at him, “Shut up, it was a good drink.” She picked up the glass and sighed, stretching out, “I can go take this back to the bar Then we can head out.”
He stood as well, stretching his arms over his head with a loud sigh. "Works for me. Ready when you are."
She tipped the glass back to try to get all the last drops before heading to the door, "Are you coming with me to drop off the glass? Otherwise you can just wait by the motorcycle and I'll meet you there."
He didn't like the thought of her walking around this place–slightly tipsy–alone, so he shook his head and followed her. "I'm coming with you, Miss Drunk. There's no way in Hell I'm leaving you alone in a place like this."
"I'm not even that drunk," She replied as she looked around the hallway for the way to get back to the bars, the glass held lightly in her hand.
"Uh huh," he said with a smirk. "We'll see about that." He wrapped an arm around her waist and tugged her down the hall and towards the cafeteria.
She pretended to be mad at him and even huffed instead of answering, though a smile appeared on her face after a few seconds as they walked to the cafeteria.
"You can't seem to keep that cute smile off your face for long," he observed with a chuckle. He led her to the bar so she could return her glass.
"Shut up," She replied, blushing slightly as she slid the glass to the bartender and turned to the door. "Now, time to head to the motorcycle and hope we don't get beat up on the way," She said jokingly, looping her arm around his waist as well.
He chuckled and tightened his hold for a quick second, then led her out of the cafeteria. They went through some halls before they eventually reached the parking lot. "And now I shall take the drunken lady to her house," Rhydar narrated with a smirk directed towards Jynna.
“Again, shut up.” She rolled her eyes and smiled, heading to the motorcycle and glancing at him, “You know, if you don’t want to make the trek back to your place you could crash on the couch at my house.”
He shook his head. "I'll stay for a little bit, but I gotta get back. Wouldn't want to impose on my lady's personal space for too long."
