She nodded, “Alright, though you haven’t imposed on my space.” She grabbed her helmet from the seat and popped it on, trying to figure out the way back to her house from this new location.
She nodded, “Alright, though you haven’t imposed on my space.” She grabbed her helmet from the seat and popped it on, trying to figure out the way back to her house from this new location.
He got settled in the seat, gesturing for Jynna to do the same. "C'mon, Princess. Time to take you back to your castle."
Jynna settled onto the seat behind him, her arms wrapping around him, "Lets get going then Prince."
Rhydar started the bike and exited the parking lot. He headed down the street towards Jynna's house.
her grip around him tightened slightly as they started driving and she looked around, humming a tune that was lost to the wind.
After quite a bit of driving, they finally pulled into Jynna's driveway. "Home sweet home," he said to her once he shut off the bike, turning around to look at her.
She smiled and took off the helmet after unhooking her arms from around him. "Thanks for the ride," She said, slipping off the bike.
"Don't mention it. But we should actually get to school tomorrow, yeah?" he asked with a smirk.
"I suppose so, I can't miss school every day." She sighed, "A few more weeks, then spring break is here, then summer.'
He nodded, smiling. "I'll see you tomorrow, then?" He didn't really want to leave, but he also didn't want to be too clingy.
"I suppose so, though you can come inside for a little while if you want." Jynna held out the helmet to him and smiled before turning to the door, grabbing her key from where it was hidden under a loose board and opening the door.
He grabbed the helmet and put it back in its hidden compartment. He then sighed and got off the bike. "I suppose I should stay for a bit. Make sure you don't get into trouble or anything," he said while smiling slightly to himself.
She headed inside and left the door open for him, tossing her key on the table before heading to the kitchen. The smile stayed on her face and she started humming as she looked around for something to eat.
He followed her in and closed the door behind him, looking around as if he hadn't been here before. Of course, he had been here. But it was still strange to be in her home. Like he was an invader, kinda.
"Make yourself at home," She said once he came inside, glancing at him for a moment before pulling out a bag of cheetos from a cupboard and shrugging. She opened the bag and walked to the couch, settling down on it to eat the cheetos.
He leaned against the counter, still within view of her, and arched a brow as he watched her settle on the couch and eat Cheetos. "Well, it would seem I'm not really needed. You look perfectly fine on your own."
She rolled her eyes and popped another cheeto in her mouth, "The only reason I look fine right now is because I'm hungry, so I'm eating." Jynna patted the couch next to her with her clean hand, "You can come sit down, you look like your watching over a unpredictable kid standing there."
"I practically am," he mumbled to himself, heading over to sit next to her. Once he did, he looked around the living room curiously. He'd only been in the kitchen before. "Do you live alone?" he asked. The notion felt lonely to him. He always had Magnus with him, so the thought of being alone was a little disheartening to him.
Jynna nodded, offering him the bag as she did so. "Yeah," She replied simply, stretching her arms above her head for a moment.
He shook his head at her offering. "I'm not very hungry," he murmured, then spoke louder. "Doesn't it get lonely?"
"Yeah," She replied again, shrugging as she took the bag of Cheetos back and started eating them again, "Though I usually have enough work to finish that I don't really realize it, I almost always have music playing too, which helps as well."
He frowned, mulling over that. After a few moments, he turned to rest his chin on her shoulder, murmuring against her neck, "And you impress me yet again, Princess."
She smiled, a slightly confused look on her face, "How?" She asked, not objecting in the least to his chin on her shoulder.
He gestured to the house around them. "I'd never be able to be alone. And yet you do it every day."
Jynna thought about it for a moment and shrugged, "I don't particularly like living alone, but I've gotten used to it." She looked around the house and shrugged again, "I've also been thinking about getting a pet so I'm not as lonely."
