She squeaked when he pulled her onto his lap, slightly surprised but not going to object. Her head tipped backward when he started kissing her collarbones and she moved her hand back into his hair.
She squeaked when he pulled her onto his lap, slightly surprised but not going to object. Her head tipped backward when he started kissing her collarbones and she moved her hand back into his hair.
Once again, however, he stopped.
Rhydar groaned in frustration with himself and closed his eyes. "You should leave before something happens that we both will regret…"
“If something happens, I wouldn’t regret it,” She replied, “Though I do think I should get to bed, I have to get up early for school and work.”
He kissed her throat, then her lips. God, she still tasted delicious. No matter how much his brain told him to stop, he still found himself defying his own words.
He pulled back before he could lose himself again, letting go of her.
Jynna sighed softly when he let go and pressed one more small kiss to his lips before dropping her arms from him, giving him a small smile.
He smiled slightly as well. "Goodnight, Jynna. Today was fun."
"Goodnight Rhydar, today definitely was fun." She stifled a yawn as she slipped off of his lap and stood up, bending down and scooping up the half empty bag of Cheetos.
He stood up and fought to keep himself from holding her and never letting go. He still didn't want to leave her all alone, but what could he do? He couldn't force himself into her daily life.
He shook his head to rid himself of those thoughts, then started walking to the door to let himself out.
She watched him head towards the door and bit her lip, calling out, "Drive safe." before padding towards the kitchen. After putting the bag away she stretched out her arms and sighed, smiling and brushing a hand over her neck where he had kissed her.
He looked back briefly to smile and wave, then headed outside. He was soon on the road and headed to his house.
Once he had left she yawned again and headed to the bathroom, showering and taking care of her nightly routine. She hummed to herself the whole time, even as she threw on a pair of pajamas and slipped into bed.
Rhydar made it to his house, and he shut off his bike before heading inside. Magnus was already passed out on the couch with schoolwork scattered around him. Lucky was also passed out on the couch–or, more accurately, on Magnus, as she was basically using him as a bed. Rhydar chuckled to himself and hopped up the stairs to his room, peeling off his shirt as he walked. In his room, he changed into sweatpants and flopped into bed.
Her lips formed a content smile as she buried herself under her blankets and thought of kissing Rhydar again, her eyes closing slowly as she drifted off to sleep.
As soon as his head hit the pillow, he fell asleep to the thought of Jynna in his arms tomorrow morning.
She slept pretty well and woke up the next morning to her alarm, happy to not have a hangover. Jynna couldn't help but smile after turning her alarm off and getting out of bed, she would get to see Rhydar again today if he went to school. Grabbing her phone and starting to play music, she began getting ready for the day ahead of her.
Rhydar's alarm went off, and he groaned before begrudgingly getting up. He went through the usual movements, though he unconsciously made sure to look at least a little more decent than he usually did. He exchanged some of his rings for the ones that had simple engravings in them. His silver lip ring was replaced with a gold one, and he did a silver and gold cuff combination for his ears. No studs for today.
For clothes, he went with black jeans and combat boots, light gray top, and a black leather jacket. He lazily ran his fingers through his hair–his way of brushing it–and headed downstairs for breakfast.
Eating something for breakfast was first on her list and she decided on a bagel, letting it cook in the toaster while she went back to the bathroom and started on the process of brushing her hair. She hummed along as she braided her hair back into a messy braid and slipped on a pair of decently destroyed skinny jeans, a simple pale pink top, her black converses for shoes and a patterned zip up hoodie to top it all off. When she was finished, she put on a little mascara and headed back to the kitchen to eat.
Magnus was already up and making scrambled eggs and toast. Rhydar greeted his younger brother and scooped up some food.
Magnus watched Rhydar skeptically. "What's got you so eager for school?" he asked as Rhydar quickly ate his breakfast so that he wouldn't be late for school
He shrugged. "Well, I skipped yesterday, so I thought I better get a head's start today."
Jynna grabbed her bag of books and supplies for her classes as she ate, double checking she didn't forget anything and locking the door behind her before starting to walk to her classes. She did have a car, but it was nice enough out at this time of year that she could walk to campus and save money from gas.
Magnus rolled his eyes and fell silent. Soon enough, Rhydar had his things and was headed out to his motorcycle to get to school.
When she got to campus she caught herself looking around for Rhydar, glancing at the parking spaces as she passed and headed to the school's library.
Rhydar shut off his bike and kicked out the kickstand. He shouldered his bag and walked through the parking lot to the school. His eyes flitted about, and he smirked as he caught sight of a familiar figure.
She checked the time on her phone and smiled, she had plenty of time before her class started. Shifting her bag around on her shoulder, she focused on the library in front of her with the same smile.
Rhydar sneakily came up behind Jynna and snaked his arms around her middle. He pulled her flush against his chest, ducking his head to whisper a soft "Boo."
Jynna squeaked from surprise before realizing who it was, "Tryna give me a heart attack?" She joked, smiling softly.
