"I'm a good sprinter, but I suppose this is farewell until lunch. See you then?" he asked with a sigh, looking over at her mournfully.
"I'm a good sprinter, but I suppose this is farewell until lunch. See you then?" he asked with a sigh, looking over at her mournfully.
She smiled and nodded, "Where do you want to meet? Campus cafeteria? Or out in the center of the green space?" Jynna laughed lightly at the face he made, "Also, word of advice, don't make the football players angry, or the cheerleaders."
"I've had my fair share of drama involving the two, so I know how to handle them," he said with a wink. "And the second option sounds great." He wrapped her in a quick hug and kissed her nose, then headed towards his next class with a two finger salute.
"Just ignore everything they say, they have some very..interesting opinions about me after I dumped Will and wouldn't take him back," She called after him, saluting back with a small laugh before turning and heading into the building for her next class.
(Should we skip to lunch?)
(Yeah, you want me to post again? You can start it off otherwise)
(Hmmm, would you mind starting it off?)
(No problem!)
Jynna sighed in relief when her class ended and she was able to go to lunch. She hadn't seen Will in the class she had with him and she wondered what he was planning. Either way, she pushed the thoughts out of her mind and packed up her supplies, rushing out of the classroom and to the middle of the green space to wait for Rhydar.
It took him a bit to find it, be he eventually found the green space. Once again, Jynna's back was the Rhydar. He smirked and snuck up behind her, slipping his arms around her shoulders. "Guess who," he said flatly with a bright grin.
She smiled, "Hmmm…let's see..is it Rhydar?" She jokingly guessed, spinning around and looking up at him.
He gave her a bright smile before leaning down to kiss her.
"I think I guessed right," She joked before kissing him back, looping her arms around his waist as she did so.
He pulled back and pecked her nose. "As much as I like you, I like food just a little more," he said with a smirk. "We gonna go eat?"
She laughed and nodded, "I'd have to say the same, and yes, let's go eat. Anywhere in particular you want to go? There's a great burger place a few blocks away that I go to sometimes."
"Burgers it is," he said with a nod, then smiled down at her. "And I'm glad we have a mutual preference of food over each other," he joked with a wink.
Jynna smiled, shrugging as she joked back, "What can I say, food has been an important part in my life forever." She took a small step away from him and grabbed his hand, ready to lead him to the burger place.
He laced their fingers together and let her lead the way. "True true. Say, what's your favorite dish? If you want to meet my sister, might as well conveniently use her culinary prowess when you come over for such a meeting."
"Hm……Probably lasagna, good ol' homemade lasagna," She replied, tugging him down a small sidewalk between two of the buildings and slipping through the parking lot of a store behind the buildings.
"Perfect," he chirped. He let her tug him around, trusting her to not lead him to some dump. "You wanna come over after school today?" he asked with a half smile directed down towards her.
Jynna thought for a moment and nodded, "Sure, I don't think I'm on the schedule for today at the diner." Soon, they were walking down one of the busier streets in town, with shops lining the street and sidewalks along with a few bars and restaurants scattered around, "What's your favorite food by the way?" She asked.
He tilted his head as he thought about it. "Hmmm. If my sister's cooking, then it would be her homemade chicken noodle soup. If not, then any kind of pizza that doesn't involve pineapple." His eyes darted about, looking around the town in curiosity.
"You don't like pineapple on pizza?" She made a mental note to remember he liked pizza before pointing towards a building on the other side of the street with a smile like a kid showing someone their favorite place. It was clearly the burger place, with the sign that said 'Bullhorn Burgers' on the top, "There it is, the best place to get a burger that I've found so far."
He scrunched up his face at her question. "Hell no. That's just unnatural." When she pointed out the burger place with a proud smile brightening her face, he couldn't help but stare down at her with a soft smile. "Well, I'll take your word for it," he murmured.
She shook her head, "Don't take my word for it, see for yourself, we are going there anyway." She looked both ways to make sure there were no cars coming before pulling him across the street and to the burger place, "They have every combination or idea for a burger you can imagine, and if they don't have it, they have a place on the menu where you can create your own custom burger."
"Sweeeeet," he said, following her while doing his own check to make sure they wouldn't end up like pancakes. "I'm already getting hungry just from the endless possibilities," he joked.
