He nodded. "I've had them off and on, but this is the first one for a while." He replied, carefully changing the cloth around, but still hiding the blood.
He nodded. "I've had them off and on, but this is the first one for a while." He replied, carefully changing the cloth around, but still hiding the blood.
“Have you eaten breakfast yet?” Allie asked, moving onto another topic, but no less suspicious. She told herself the suspicion was probably all in her head.
He shook his head. "No, I haven't." He replied. "Been too busy dealing with my nose." He gestured with his free hand.
She chuckled lightly. “I’ll look for something then,” she replied, going to the pantry and rummaging around for something to eat. “Any preferences?”
He nodded, then shook his head. "No, thank you." He replied, smiling slightly.
“Okay, then, cold soup it is!” Allie called, walking back of out the pantry with a can of tomato soup in her hand. She beamed, her hair still in tangles from the previous night.
Logan nodded. "Alright. You go ahead and eat, then. I'll eat when this bloody nose is over." He gestured to the cloth.
Allie nodded. “Okay, I hope it lets up soon,” she responded, and after a minute or two of struggling, she got the can open and began to sip the soup out of it.
He nodded. "Me too." He replied with a sigh. He adjusted the cloth again, leaning against the counter.
“I don’t know how true it is, but I’ve heard lying down helps,” she added between sips.
He shrugged. "I don't want to lay down on the floor." He complained.
Allie rolled her eyes. “Then you can go lay on the couch in the other room that isn’t completely beat up, or on your bed.”
He grinned. "Alright, alright. If you insist." He left the room and laid down on the couch, coughing as plumes of dust sprang into the air.
Allie finished off her half of the soup, hoping laying down would help Logan. She set it down on the counter, and walked into the other room where Logan was. “Feeling any better?”
Logan glanced over. "Mhm. I think it's about stopped." He replied, slowly pulling the rag away from his face. He balled it up so the blood wasn't visible, slowly sitting up.
“That’s good,” she replied, a smile working its way onto her lips. “So what I said helped, then?”
He nodded. "Yeah, I think so." He replied with a small smile, walking to the door and chucking the cloth outside. "Thanks."
“No problem,” she responded, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “So do you want to eat your half of the soup now?”
He smiled slightly. "Sure." He replied. "I mean, I don't have anything better to do." He chuckled a bit.
Allie smirked and rolled her eyes. “Alright Mr.Wise Guy,” she teased. “You know nothing beats cold tomato soup in the morning.”
He laughed, taking the can with a chuckle. "Alright." He replied.
Allie leaned against the wall, yawning. “So I’m guessing I fell asleep during twenty questions last night,” she assumed, looking at Logan.
Logan nodded. "Mhm. I tucked you into bed and went to my own room." He replied.
“Thanks,” she responded. “That was nice of you.” She was still in a bit of a fog from tiredness, but smiled at him nevertheless.
He nodded. "Mhm. You're welcome." He drank the soup rather quickly.
(I gtg soon, by the way. Sorry)
