Alex nodded. "Mhm. You'll get over him, and you'll find someone else that you'll like just as much."
Alex nodded. "Mhm. You'll get over him, and you'll find someone else that you'll like just as much."
"Yeah, probably. I got a problem with fallin' for dudes hard. Like– it sucks, 'cause we'll be chill one day then the next I'm just fucked up over 'em." Danny snorted.
He nodded again. "Right. But my point still stands. You'll find someone else eventually."
"True." Danny sighed. "Yeah- yeah, that's true."
(not gonna be on tonight)
Alex nodded. "Mhm. I promise. We can even go out tonight to find you someone, if you like."
(alright, np!)
"I'm probably gonna hold off on that for at least a couple more days, y'know? I'm just tired of dating for the time being." Danny shook his head. "Short time being, at least. We'll see how long that lasts."
"Alright, alright. It was just a suggestion. If you want a buddy when you do decide to, I'll be right here if you want."
"Yeah. Thanks, Alex, man." Danny nodded, sitting up for a moment to readjust his posture before leaning back on Alex.
Alex nodded a little. "Mhm. Of course. I'll be your wingman, yeah?"
"Naturally. Dunno what else you'd be, right?" Danny laughed, sitting up again to stretch, removing his head from Alex's shoulder entirely.
He laughed a little, looking over at Danny. "Mhm." He replied.
Danny readjusted how he was sitting, drawing one of his knees to his chest. "But yeah, man, you'd for sure be my wingman. You need me to do the same for you, I'll do it."
He smiled a little. "Yeah, of course. And…I don't really need one right now. I don't think. I'm not…I dunno. Like if I find someone I want to be with, then yeah, but I'm not… actively looking? If that makes sense?"
Danny nodded, smiling as well. He leaned up against the arm of the couch. "Yeah, man, I know what you mean. I'm kinda in the same camp, I think? I dunno yet."
Alex ran a hand through his hair. "Yeah. It's just…I've got my dad to worry about right now, and my job, and the…curse, and all that, plus…I've still got…some issues from Keats to deal with. Just…y'know. I got used to an unhealthy relationship so it would be way too easy for me to fall back into one, so I have to be careful about that."
Danny nodded, shifting again to sit cross-legged on the couch. He rested his elbow on his knee, and his head on his fist. "No, man, I understand. I'm not tryna say you need to get in a relationship or anythin', y'know that, right?" He sat back up, leaning to his side, against the couch. "You got shit you need to deal with before any'a that shit."
"Yeah, yeah." he replied with a nod, looking at Danny. "Thanks."
(gtg sorry)
(ah, gn! sorry i responded so late!)
"It's nothin', man. Really." Danny shook his head, scratching at his fuzzy hair again.
(it's fine!)
Alex looked over at him. "But how are you feeling? About…all this?"
Danny cocked his head. "Whaddya mean? Like- the breakup? I mean, I guess it hurts. Kinda. But I think maybe it had to happen." He rubbed his eyes. "Is that what you meant?"
"Yeah, I guess." He replied, looking at Danny. "I just… sorry. I'm not good at this sort of thing."
"No, dude, it's fine. Really." Danny laughed softly. "You're doin' just fine, man. Doin' just fine."
Alex nodded a little bit, looking over at him. "Alright. I just…I dunno. I'm hee for you."
He nodded as well, rubbing his eyes. There was still a slight shakiness to his breathing, though it was slowly melting off. "I know, man. Thank you."
He smiled a little. "Yeah, no problem." he repleid.
