He bit his lip a little bit. "What…is there anything I can do to help?"
He bit his lip a little bit. "What…is there anything I can do to help?"
"I dunno. Sorry, man-" Danny laughed slightly leaning back again and rubbing the fuzzy hair on his head. "Do you mind just hangin' out here for a minute?"
"Yeah, I can do that." he replied, looking at the Werewolf. "I'm really sorry about that, though."
"Thanks." He sighed. "And it- it's fine. It needed to happen anyways, but.. I dunno. Just wish it didn't end so.. bad."
"What…happened?" he asked quietly, looking at Danny still.
"Just a lot of yelling. Got a fucken' noise complaint on top of it all." Danny's laugh was hollow. "We both got kinda.. physical. I guess. I dunno."
"Oh." He wondered what exactly had happened. Physical. Like Keats? "I'm really sorry, Danny."
"'T's fine, I'm just tired." Danny sighed. "I think I just need to get over it soon, it's already been like- a day-ish."
He frowned a little bit. "It doesn't take a day to get over someone you loved. Irregardless of…what it was like or how it ended." he thought of Keats again.
Danny shrugged, sinking back down on the couch again. "I dunno. Sure would fucken' like to."
"I know." he replied softly.
"Yeah. Sorry for draggin' you into this, man." He mumbled, rubbing his eyes. He honestly looked like he may start crying at any moment.
"It's fine." he replied. He was terrible at comforting, but he wanted to try.
"I was just tired of this shit, man. I was. I'm still tired." Physically and mentally. Danny was exhausted. "And I was just tired of being tired, I guess. I dunno."
He nodded a little bit. "I know." he replied softly.
"I guess the band is staying together, 'cause it wouldn't be fair to Oz if we broke it up, but-" Danny's voice cracked near the end of his sentence.
"It's going to be hard." he finished the sentence for Danny, and carefully wrapped his arms gently around the taller male, trying to comfort him.
"Yeah." Danny didn't pull away from Alex's arms. "Yeah. It is. I just don't really want to think about him, but– when we fucken' work together-" Tears began to fall down his cheeks, but he quickly began to scrub them away with the back of his hand.
"I know." he murmured, rubbing Danny's back with one hand. "I'm sorry."
"It's fine, I guess, I mean- it's not your fault-" Danny mumbled. He didn't pull away from Alex, in fact, he somewhat leaned into his hands. That was probably just him being touch-starved and upset, though. "It's just annoying. I dunno if I can even call it stressful."
Alex nodded a little bit. "Yeah. I understand." he replied softly. "Did he…you said it got physical…did he hurt you?"
"I mean– kinda. It, like.. I fought back, though. I wasn't just letting him, if that's what you're- like- if that's what you're worried about." Danny shrugged, shifting slightly.
Alex frowned a little bit. "Danny…" he looked at the Werewolf carefully. "What happened?"
"No, fuck, wasn't like that. I just brought up how I was gonna break up with him. He threw a couple punches, I threw one or two back." Danny sat back in the couch. "He just kinda roughed me the fuck up."
"Either way, he still shouldn't have hit you." he replied, frowning and shaking his head. "That's not…"
