“Agh, I gotta stop trying to lower my voice. Swear to god, I did that when I first started ‘cause I wanted to sound cooler, or somethin’, I guess? It was a bad idea.” Danny laughed, strumming a couple chords absently.
“Agh, I gotta stop trying to lower my voice. Swear to god, I did that when I first started ‘cause I wanted to sound cooler, or somethin’, I guess? It was a bad idea.” Danny laughed, strumming a couple chords absently.
Alex chuckled. "There are voice exercises that you can do, though. To help lower it." He pointed out.
Danny nodded, pushing his hair out of his face. “Yeah, yeah, I know. I’m fine with my voice now, though.”
Alex nodded. "Alright." He replied, shrugging his shoulders a little.
“Plus, I kinda made a little bit of a name around here ‘cause of it, y’know? It’d be weird for me to change it now.” Danny snorted, starting up a different song.
(I won't be super active tonight, sorry)
Alex chuckled. "Yeah. I get it. It's like…you're signature?" He shrugged a little bit.
(no problem! i have some prop-making to do anyway, lmao)
“I guess so, yeah!” Danny chirped, nodding his head. “That’s a good way to put it.”
(lmao)
Alex grinned. "Mm." he nodded a little, and stretched.
“God, what should I play- oh! You know DIO? Band?” Danny’s eyes lit up, remembering some of the first songs he had learned.
"Uhm. No?" Alex replied slowly, looking over at Danny and relaxing again. "Sorry."
“Nah? Alright, alright. What do y’know, ‘cause somethin’ tells me we don’t listen to the same shit.” Danny laughed, raking his nails up and down the guitar’s neck.
"Uh. Musicals, obviously. Imagine Dragons. Whatever happens to play on the radio, more musicals, movies, more musicals, uhm…" He shrugged slightly.
Danny nodded slightly. “Right.. so nothing I’d listen to then.” He mentally flipped through the songs he knew, going quiet. “Queen? You gotta know Queen, bare minimum.”
"Oh! Yeah I love Queen!" He replied with a grin.
“At least there’s that.. I really only have Killer Queen memorized, though.” Danny nodded, beginning to play the first couple chords. “Just wanna play somethin’ you’ll know, y’know?”
Alex nodded, and started to hum along softly. "Yeah. Freddie Mercury is an icon, though." He replied with a smile.
“..Okay, duh.” Danny’s tone was playful and joking as he spoke, like normal. He began to hum the words as well, head rocking from side to side as he did so.
Alex chuckled softly, running a hand through his hair, humming along with Danny. He didn't have the range, nor the bravery to actually sing.
Danny was clearly infatuated with this song- you could see it in his eyes, on his lips as he mumbled the words, hell- even his hands as he shifted from chord to chord.
Alex smiled a little bit as he watched Danny. He ran a hand through his hair, eyes flickering around for a moment before settling on the werewolf again.
Danny leaned into the back cushion of his couch. The apartment was pretty shabby and tired looking, probably from the constant comings and goings of its tenants over the years.
Alex watched quietly, smiling a little bit. He stretched slightly, and leaned back into his own seat.
Danny drew the song to a close, humming along to the final few notes. “Jesus, I forgot how much I just love than damn song, y’know?” He grinned, plucking a few sour notes.
Alex chuckled softly. "Mm. I can tell." he replied with a smile.
Danny raised an eyebrow, looking at Alex curiously. “Whaddya mean by that?”
