Melissa smiled. Their faces where slightly close together. "Yeah it really is," she agreed.
Melissa smiled. Their faces where slightly close together. "Yeah it really is," she agreed.
Ciel had the sudden urge to lean forward even more, but she fought it and turned to look out over the field. "So, besides football, am I to expect anything else to happen?" She asked, glancing at Melissa out of the corner of her eye.
Melissa was surprisingly disappointed when Ciel turned away. "Umm maybe a fight," She said squinting. Her eyes widened slightly like she noticed something. "Oh shit. That's my old school."
"Ooh, really?" Ciel exclaimed, turning again to look at Melissa. "Who would it involve, if this fight did actually happen?" She paused, eyebrows creasing, then turned to look at where Melissa was staring. "Oh. That's really… huh," Ciel finally said. She had no idea what she would do if her old school came. Probably hide and hope no one recognized her. "Are you… good?"
Melissa nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. Probably should have checked who we are against though," She said.
"Heh, yeah." Ciel laughed softly, watching the field. "It'll probably be fine, though," She continued, giving Melissa an encouraging smile.
Melissa smiled back. She looked slightly nervous but shrugged it off. "Yeah, you're right it'll be fine." the game started up.
Ciel nodded slightly, turning towards the field when the game started. She watched it for a little while, an amused smile on her face. After a little, Ciel couldn't help but glance over at Melissa.
Melissa watched the game for a bit and kept glancing at Ciel. She made eye contact with her when she glanced and blushed slightly. she looked back at the game.
Ciel blushed as well and looked at the game again. It wasn't that interesting, and she had almost no idea what was going on. But she was sitting next to Melissa, so it was perfect.
“This game is so boring I half wish someone would fight,” Melissa complained laughing slightly.
"Yeah, really." Ciel nodded in agreement, glancing over at Melissa again. "Football is not as interesting as everyone seems to think it is."
Melissa laughed and nodded. "Yeah, it definitely isn't. Want to sneak off or just wait it out?" she asked.
"Ugh, if I wait, I think I'll die of boredom," Ceil answered, trying to keep her tone light and her mind off of any possible things that might happen if they snuck off. "If you don't mind missing this extremely engaging game, we should find something more interesting."
Melissa nodded. "I know somewhere we can go," She said standing up. "Can't have you dying on me." she winked laughing again.
"Perfect," Ciel grinned, her heart jumping when Melissa winked at her. Oh, why did she have to be so cute? Ciel bit her lip slightly as she stood. She hoped that, against all odds, that something would happen. It probably wouldn't, but a little hope couldn't hurt.
Melissa just smiled watching her. She stood there for a little too long before shaking her head slightly and walking down the bleachers.
Ciel's smile persisted as she followed Melissa down the bleachers. She wondered where Melissa would take her. Hopefully, it would be more interesting than watching football, though that bar was very, very low.
Melissa walked away from the field to a wooden area with a path. Once out of view of the game she glanced at Ciel. She took her hand and lead her to a side path that was a little overgrown.
Ciel followed Melissa out of the game, her heart jumping again when Melissa took her hand. "This is kind of pretty," She said softly, glancing around. Her eyes ended up on Melissa, like they almost always did.
Melissa smiled and nodded. "Wait until you see what's ahead," she said. The trees sort of made an arch above them.
"Ooh, I can't wait, then." Ciel glanced above them, loving the fairytale vibe she was getting from the place. Who knew something so beautiful existed on or near the school grounds?
Melissa smiled. After a little more walking there was a clearing. There was a very small stream next to it and flowers all around.
"Oh my–" Ciel gasped, looking around in wonder. "Melissa, this is beautiful!" She took in the stream and the flowers, eyes large and shining. "What is this place?" Ciel turned back to Melissa, a huge smile on her face.
Melissa shrugged still smiling. "Not sure just found it one day when wandering around," she said. "YOu bring Lili here sometimes. No one else really knows about it." She didn't mention the fact that she and Lili stayed there a few nights before she got her old apartment.
