"Mmkay… I don't really wanna go anywhere alone, though…" Cas shifted around again and sighed softly.
"Mmkay… I don't really wanna go anywhere alone, though…" Cas shifted around again and sighed softly.
"Well, how about I show you around later? This place can be quiet beautiful." Halm lifted his arms a bit when Cas shifted, then set then back down around him.
"Okay." Cas turned to be facing Halm and wrapped himself around the God as well as he could.
Halm put his arm around Cas, finally standing up. He put the dishes away, smiling softly.
Cas seemed content to just let Halm carry him around. He closed his eyes and relaxed with a sigh.
Halm gathered up the things he needed for work, heading outside with Cas. He would be collecting memories today.
Cas didn't seem like he was going to be very active today, as per usual. He hummed softly and soon pulled his massive hood over his head.
Halm smiled a little. He kneeled down to begin, keeping one arm around Cas.
Cas soon drifted off to sleep in Halm's arms, seeming to be sufficiently warm enough in the massive hoodie.
Halm looked down when Cas went limp, smiling softly to himself.
"Adorable," he mumbled.
Cas yawned and huddled close, humming happily in his sleep. Thankfully, he wasn't dreaming at the moment.
Halm worked diligently and quietly, trying to move as little as possible.
Eventually, Cas started stirring and whining, seeming to be uncomfortable and distressed. He tried to clutch at Halm through the thick material of the hoodie.
Halm quickly put down his work, focusing on Cas. He put both arms around Cas, moving the hood off of Cas's head.
"Cas?" He said quietly.
"Mmmmm…" Cas opened his eyes and looked up at Halm weakly. He was trembling and his face was rather pale.
Halm pulled Cas closer, wrapping Cas up in his arms more.
"What's wrong?" He asked softly.
Cas huddled close to Halm and sighed. "I-It's stupid… don't worry about it… no big deal…"
"It obviously upsets you," Halm said gently. "So it's not stupid." He gently rubbed Cas's back.
"I just get nightmares sometimes, I… it's nothing…" Cas buried his face in Halm's chest.
Halm gently put his hand on Cas's head, sighing a little.
"I see," he said softly.
Cas sighed and tried to put his good back up, clearly wanting to hide. "I'm not surprised I'm getting them now after talking with my dad… he usually features a lead role in them."
Halm moves his hand to let Cas put the hood back up.
"I see," he said gently. They really shouldn't have talked to him.
Cas huddled in Halm's arms and soon seemed to calm down considerably, although he didn't really want to go back to sleep.
Halm just held Cas while he calmed down, and after a while he went back to work.
Considering he didn't want to sleep again, Cas looked up and started to watch Halm work instead.
