Derlik was happy to let Nix do most of the puzzle, smiling.
"You're doing an amazing job," the god purred, lightly scratching behind Nix's ears.
Derlik was happy to let Nix do most of the puzzle, smiling.
"You're doing an amazing job," the god purred, lightly scratching behind Nix's ears.
"Thanks!" Nix smiled brightly at the praise and stuck down another piece, seeming pretty content for the time being.
Derlik was content as well, glad to distract Nix from what was going to happen. He scratched down Nix's back lightly, hugging the man.
Nix stuck his tongue out a bit as he worked, clapping a bit in excitement when he finished the puzzle. "Look! Pretty!"
"Very pretty!" Derlik agreed. He grinned, hugging Nix close. "You did such an amazing job with it, it looks wonderful."
"Thanks!" Nix purred happily and closed his eyes when Derlik hugged him, curling his tail up a bit. "Should we do another one?"
"Sure thing, sweetie," Derlik hummed, arms still secure around him. "Let's go get one, then."
"Okay! Can we do a pretty ocean one?" Nix asked, wrapping his arms around Derlik's neck as he was carried.
"Sounds good to me!" Derlik smiled, moving to look through the puzzles before finding one with a picture of the ocean.
"How does this look?"
"Pretty!" Nix accepted the puzzle from Derlik with a bright smile, holding it close to his chest. "I like this one."
"Good! Let's go do it, then!" Derlik kissed the top of Nix's head, moving back to the table.
Nix poured out the puzzle pieces happily, starting to stick the puzzle together as Derlik held onto him.
Derlik hummed, arms neatly around Nix as he looked down at the puzzle.
"You're going so good," he said with a smile.
"Thanks!" Nix purred happily, sticking another little cluster of pieces into the puzzle. "You wanna do some too?"
"Sure do!" Derlik hummed again, reaching out to put a few pieces together.
Nix hummed softly to himself as he worked, collaborating with Derlik to put more pieces together.
Derlik smiled, an arm moving back to wrap around Nix as hte other continued to help the man.
"Mm…"
"Mmm… what time is it?" Nix asked after a bit, stretching and yawning.
"It's about ten o'clock," Derlik said, looking up. "I wonder why Serna isn't up…"
"Maybe she's tired today." Nix shrugged a bit and put down another piece. "Cas is probably still sleeping."
"Mm… probably right. Still, want some food now? It's breakfast time." Derlik hummed, arms around Nix's waist again.
"Yeah, sure. What do we have?" Nix asked curiously.
"I have no idea. Probably a lot of sweets, knowing Serna." Derlik chuckled, standing with Nix in his arms.
"I guess she likes sweets?" Nix hummed thoughtfully and glanced around the kitchen from Derlik's arms.
"Indeed," Derlik agreed. "And baking, too." Derlik shifted Nix a bit in his arms, reaching for the fridge.
"How does some tuna sound?"
