"I… I do to," Matthew said softly.

Rowan nuzzled against Matthew a bit, tensing up as he clung to the other. "I… I think that I do for sure wanna move here, though…"

"That's good, I'm glad you know that you truly want to." Matthew shifted a bit, pulling Rowan closer when he tensed up.

Rowan nodded, holding a bit tighter to the fabric of Matthew's shirt. "Y-Yeah… it's a lot better than earth."

Matthew rubbing Rowan's back.
"It's be okay," he said softly.

Rowan nodded again with a shaky sigh. "Y-Yeah… you're right. Do you think the sitter will be here soon?"

"I don't know," Matthew said softly. It was a while before any knock on the door, but there it was.

Rowan glanced up when he heard the knock. He was still cuddled up with Matthew, but seemed to be more relaxed than he'd been before. "I think they're here…"

"I think so too. Do you want to come with me to answer the door, or stay here with the chicks and Fluff?" Matthew sat up just a bit.

"Uhm… I'll stay here…" Rowan said softly, letting Matthew pull away from him. He shifted to be a bit closer to the nest.

Matthew nodded a bit, setting Rowan down.
"I'll be back in a moment." He left, going to open the door.

Rowan nodded as well and gently pet the chick's heads, sighing softly to himself.

Matthew spoke softly to the sitter a moment, leading them inside.
"Hello, sir," the sitter said when they saw Rowan. "I'm Mia, I'll be the one watching your pets!" She had a long slim tail, leopard ears on her head.

"Uhm… hi…" Rowan replied nervously, holding the nest closer to himself. Hopefully she won't scare Tammy… or try to eat any of them…

Tammy peeked out of the nest at the new voice. She froze a moment, but when she wasn't attacked she relaxed.
"Is there anything in particular you need to inform me of before I take care of the pets for you?"

"Uhm… Tammy tends to explore a lot and tries to get to places she shouldn't be, so… you'll want to watch for that. Tommy sleeps pretty much all of the time, so you shouldn't have to worry about him too much… We've got some grubs for them to eat. They eat two or three times a day depending on how often they whine about being hungry… they're pretty sweet, though, so I hope you won't have too much trouble…"

Mia nodded a bit.
"Okay then! I'm sure we'll all have a lot of fun together!" Matthew offered his hand to Rowan.
"Shall we get going?" he asked softly.

"U-Uhm… yeah…" Rowan held Timmy close to himself as he headed out with Matthew, his anxiety returning full force.

Timmy looked over Rowan's shoulder as they left his siblings, nuzzling a bit against Rowan's neck. Matthew wrapped one are securely around Rowan, keeping him close as they walked.
"Are you sure you're okay..?"

Rowan nodded, trying to ignore the way that his breath caught in his throat. His eyes stung a bit, so he closed them, just allowing Matthew to lead him along.

Matthew glanced down at Rowan, very concerned. He bent down, lightly wrapping his arms around the human and picking him up.

Rowan hugged Matthew tightly when he was picked up, quivering lightly. "I-I'm sorry, I… I'm fine…"

"It's okay," Matthew said softly. "But please… don't lie to me." Matthew held Rowan close as he started walking again.

"I-I dunno, honestly…" Rowan whispered. "I'm just… I'm so stressed…"

Matthew rubbed Rowan's back.
"I know, I know…"
