"Be real." Zev replied. "He likes it when people are real and genuine." He looked at her calmly.
"Be real." Zev replied. "He likes it when people are real and genuine." He looked at her calmly.
"Whatever you say," She replied, having no intentions of acting completely like herself. Sure she would act close, but she was going to tuck away some of her worse habits and her past completely.
Zev blinked slowly. "He does not like to be lied to." he added, remembering the few times it had happened while Zev was around.
Thesa nodded, going back to drinking more and letting the alcohol blur her senses, "I won't be lying to him, unless I have to for my own safety."
Zev blinked, then nodded. "Alright. That makes sense." He replied calmly.
She drank a little more before glancing over at him once again, asking another question to keep herself busy, "How many of the planets have you been to Zev? And what are they like?"
Zev blinked. "I have been to Earth, to…this one, to the Earth's moon, and…I believe that is it." he replied slowly. "I did not get to travel very much before the ship was…disabled."
"Why were you and Alexi traveling anyway?" She asked, cocking her head to the side, "And why would he just leave you on that lump of metal if he cared so much about you?" She knew what earth was like due to several 'business trips' there, saving her from having to ask the question of what it was like.
Zev blinked slowly, looking at her. "That is classified. You shall have to ask him yourself, as I cannot tell you." He replied.
(I'm back for a few days! :D)
Thesa shrugged, "Alright, just curious." She drank some more and let out a sigh, out of questions and unable to think of anymore to ask him.
(okay!)
Zev watched her, unblinking now. He was silent, sitting still. Unnaturally still, though that was to be expected. He was only an Android, after all.
"Why are you watching me so closely?" She asked, breaking the silence once again once she couldn't stand it. Her eyes flicked to where he was and she quickly looked away when he was looking at her and not moving at all.
Zev blinked again. "Was I? My apologies." he replied with a shrug.
Thesa rolled her eyes and started picking at one of her fingernails, knowing it was a habit she needed to break but just couldn't seem to get rid of, "What were you thinking about?"
"I do not technically think, as that would require having the same neural passageways as you humans do. I do not; I have wiring and programming that mimics human behavior to the best of its abilities." Zev replied.
"Ok, well then, what were you untechnically thinking about?" She questioned, "I mean, your brain can't just shut off and think of nothing."
"Actually, it can." Zev replied. "It's why I don't really dream. Because my brain completely shuts off."
Thesa shook her head, "That doesn't make sense, you have to be thinking of something, even if you're trying to think of nothing, you're still thinking of something. As long as your body is receiving signals to interpret you have to be thinking."
"No, if I were human that would work. But I have the ability to shut down and simply observe without thought." Zev replied.
"How?" She said, insanely curious and with an equally puzzled look on her face, "How can you observe without thinking?"
"My eyes are cameras. They record everything they see." Zev replied with a shrug.
"That's….that's creepy," She said, wrinkling her nose, "They record everything?"
"Everything I see." Zev replied, nodding. "How is it creepy?"
"Imagine someone looking back through everything you say, everything you've ever seen..isn't that weird?" She asked, tipping her head to the side and rolling on her side so she was looking over at him.
He blinked slowly. "No? That's what androids are for. We are designed that way on purpose." he said, not seeming to quite grasp what she meant.
