"Ah." Zev came forward again when she landed, looking at her. "Are you alright?" he asked. "Or do I need to check for breakage?"
"Ah." Zev came forward again when she landed, looking at her. "Are you alright?" he asked. "Or do I need to check for breakage?"
"I'm fine," She replied, breaking out into a slight smile as she got to her feet and started back towards climbing the ship again, "The most damage I'll have is a bruise."
Zev nodded a little. "Alright." he replied, watching her, expressionless.
It took her a little bit longer to climb back up this time due to her already sore bruise but she stood again at the edge within a few minutes to try once again to attempt a backflip.
Zev watched her with raised eyebrows, waiting to see if she would fall and hurt herself even worse.
Once again, she studied where the mattress was and nodded, turning on her heel and shaking out her arms to get ready to try to jump again.
Zev continued to watch, unsure if he should try to interfere or not. He did not want to, but he knew he should if she was going to be hurt.
This time as she jumped back, she got her feet swung up a little further over her body and did s flip, though she still yelped as she realized she wasn't going to hit the mattress.
Zev plotted out her trajectory, and realized she wouldn't be able to hit the mattress. He carefully maneuvered to be underneath her and catch her.
She knew she wouldn't hit the mattress and pressed her eyes shut as she prepared to hit the ground. It surprised her when she didn't though and she instead landed in what she assumed was Zev's arms with a squeak.
Zev caught her silently, looking at her. "Are you alright?" He asked, arching an eyebrow at her.
"Yeah," She said after a moment of trying to see if she hurt herself, "Might've bruised my ego a little, but other than that, I'm fine. Metal isn't fun to land on though." Thesa looked back at him and couldn't help but study his eyes with curiosity at their color and similarities to a human's eye.
Zev nodded. "Mm. Alright." he replied, and set her down lightly, keeping his hands on her just in case he fellt. "Are you sure?"
"Fairly certain," She replied, standing with only a small wince from her previous bruise, "I might be done with that though, even I can tell that."
Zev nodded. "Ah alright." He replied, letting go of her after a moment.
She shrugged and frowned when she realized the rest of her drink was on top of the ship, "Alright, maybe one more jump down. Then I'm done." Thesa walked over to her ship once more and climbed up the side, sitting once she reached the top and waving to Zev with a smile.
Zev looked up at her silently, face impassive. He hoped she would not die or hurt herself. Though he would catch her again if need be.
"You should come up and jump down," She called out to Zev, focusing on finishing her drink as she got to her feet and looked at him with the same childish smile.
"No, thank you." Zev replied, looking up at her.
"Cmon, one time? Don't be a party pooper," She called, frowning jokingly at him and stepping towards the edge of the ship.
"No." Zev said again, still just looking at her. He didn't see a reason to do so, and he certainly wasn't going to risk damaging himself.
She sighed and rolled her eyes, scowling at him before shrugging and going back to her drink, "Alright party pooper, have it your way."
Zev nodded. "I will." He replied, looking up at her silently.
Thesa stayed up there for a few more minutes before setting her now empty drink down and getting ready to jump down normally.
Zev watched her, prepared to catch her if he needed to. He continued to watch her, his head cocked slightly to the side.
