Thesa rolled her eyes, "Doesn't it bug you though, like something you can't quite explain but you just know it's wrong and you don't like even the thought of it?"
Thesa rolled her eyes, "Doesn't it bug you though, like something you can't quite explain but you just know it's wrong and you don't like even the thought of it?"
Zev studied her for a long moment before shaking his head slowly. "No. I haven't." He said.
"Well there's something to think about instead of shutting your brain off," She said, looking over at him and nodding before sitting up, "Now contemplate that while I go find something mildly stupid to do on this ship."
He cocked his head slightly. "But why?" he frowned a little. "What do you mean by mildly stupid?"
"Would you rather me do something terribly stupid?" She asked, rolling her eyes, "Because I want to do something, and this buzz always gives me the best ideas."
He frowned again. "Why does it have to be something stupid?" he countered.
Thesa shrugged and didn't answer his question as she walked off. Maybe she could attempt to learn how to backflip. That sounded fun. And just the right amount of stupid.
Zev watched her walk away, blinking slowly. He followed her after a moment, curious as to what she would decide to do.
She opened up a small cabinet built into the wall and pulled out a few blankets, seeming very pleased with herself as she walked past Zev again and grabbed her last bottle before starting towards the door. She didn't even act like Zev was there.
Zev continued to follow her to watch what would happen, his blue eyes calm.
Thesa hummed to herself as she walked out of the plane, the night sky already around. She walked to the back of her ship, near the part lowest to the ground and set the blankets down in a scattered pile, slipped the bottle into her pocket, and started to climb up to the top of the ship.
Zev followed her quietly, taking in what was happening.
She looked down at the small pile of blankets from where she was standing up on top of the ship, judging how far she would have to jump to hit them. Maybe grabbing the mattress from her bed would be good too. That seemed a little safer.
Zev continued to watch her, ready to step in if he thought she was going to hurt herself.
(sry its short and it took so long for me to respond, i'm exhausted since I spent the past few days with my best friend (she moved away and I haven't seen her in forever))
She clambered back down with only a minor mess up with her footing, having to jump the last few feet before marching back inside confidently and starting the process of dragging her mattress off her bed and outside.
(it's totally fine, dwb) (aw congrats))
Zev cocked his head a little, watching her still. He wasn't quite sure what her plan was, and he wasn't quite sure he wanted to know, either.
Thesa didn't ask him for help throughout the process of tugging her mattress out, instead doing it on her own and cussing quite a lot. Eventually she got it out though and pulled it to the pile of blankets, putting it in their place and tossing them ontop.
Zev continued to watch her, folding his hands behind his back in silence. He cocked an eyebrow a little, but said nothing.
She cracked a grin once it was in place and clambered up onto the top of the ship once again, pulling her drink out of her pocket and opening it before getting ready to just jump down first. If she landed alright this time, then she would try to do a flip.
Zev continued to watch her, his hands loose by his sides. He was still wearing the rather ill-fitting, ancient clothes that had been on the Daedalus, and he only just now realized that that had probably looked rather odd.
Thesa stepped to the edge of the ship and looked down to the mattress before shrugging and jumping off. Now, it was a pretty tall ship, and the mattress wasn't the biggest target to hit or land on safely, but somehow she did it; landing with a thump and a whoop of fun.
Zev peered at her, raising a caramel colored eyebrow. "What is the purpose of this?" He asked slowly.
"My own entertainment and to keep myself from getting bored since you're a party pooper," She replied, already stood up and scrambling up the side of the ship once again. Thesa reached the top with a grin and once again walked to the edge, peering down at Zev, "Backup, I'm going to try to do a backflip."
Zev backed up a little bit. "Why? If you land on me, I shall not be damaged. Or if I am, not that badly."
"Because it'll hurt me dumb-dumb." She rolled her eyes and focused on the mattress as her target, turning around so her heels were touching the edge of the ship and jumping towards where she guessed the mattress was located. Her jump was very uncoordinated and she yelped, nowhere near flipping enough to get a backflip as she landed hard on her tailbone, barely on the edge of the mattress.
