"Careful, Bruja. You're starting to sound like a Fae."
"Careful, Bruja. You're starting to sound like a Fae."
“I am always serious about ghosts, Cat. Besides-”
"Kai! Why are our cats in cosplay?!"
“It’s nothing for you to worry about, Bohe.”
“Yes, it is!” Rhapsody said, grabbing her hand. “For fuck’s sake, Lola! You’re my closest friend! I’m gonna fucking worry!”
‘There’s nothing to worry about!”
The petals were specked with blood
Within seconds, there was a hole where he once was and his body was nowhere to be found.
She would bleach her clothing when she got back to the palace, she decided, as she walked over to Ace and the boy across from her. Tessa braced her hands on the table, looking at the princess, her hazel eyes flared wide. "So. Who's the new boy toy?"
Without looking up from the chess board on the table, Ace replied, "Not interested in girls, that's what." she moved a piece, then looked up at Tessa. "Tessa, meet Avitas. Avitas, this is Tessa."
It was always about them. Those two, standing like gods within that maelstrom of power. Razing this world, rewriting it before our very eyes.
Events, long before I was even born, were put into motion so that these two could come together. So she could love him with all the raging darkness in her heart. So he could look at her like–like how I dreamed he would one day look at me.
Fate. Destiny.
Now I understood. Although, it didn't stop my heart from collapsing in on itself.
I was just a bystander.
He was never mine.
Not even for a moment.

'Catori had to admit, though, that if there was any town to be chock full of ghosts, it wasn’t surprising it was this one. Little Leaf, Washington, was a rainy place, dark a good chunk of the year and sitting atop the bones of itself from years past, with enough history in its’ streets and the bricks and stone making up the older buildings in the town.'
Is that a real place?
it is not, in fact. it's a boutique in wa dc, i just found out from a quick google search, but it's a fictional town because i don't have the brain power to make sure my facts are right w a real town

@Icefire

“Wait!” Gerard shouted, leaning even farther out the window “That’s not what I meant! Come back!”

The little girl smiles, her features once again rippling before her entire form fades into the background.
Rising from the grave was not fun.
"Well, that escape route's gone to shit, why don't we run around like chickens with our heads cut off and hope that when they try to shoot at us they hit their colleagues?"
It’s good. I like the quiet. I need the space to think.
