flashback to the time these four crows were hanging around the school parking lot while i was waiting for the activity bus(bus that comes late for club kids, for those of you who, like me, had no clue those existed) and when i asked my mom if anyone was giving birth or pregnant she mentioned our cousin, who a little later did in fact give birth
I remember getting a crow in my yard and it was calling to another crow out of sight, and so I only saw one, as the other was far away and it’s calls back were faint, and it depicted my situation in life for the next couple weeks perfectly.
Interesting. I'll have to do some research and just see why crows are stalking me. Maybe they're protecting me. Actually that'd make sense. I got disowned by my mom 2 days ago (long story don't wanna talk about it) and I had a mental breakdown that might and there was loki. He gave me a hug and told me he was here for me and that I've got this. It like instantly stopped my tears. That was interesting. Never happened before.
(When you want to start witchcraft but you think that your parents will disown you because of it. I think its really cool and could help me find myself but I'll have to wait a couple years sadly. I enjoy reading all of this tho!)
(Dude, I am in a household where my parents will disown me as well. I’ve been into witchcraft since my late freshman year of high school when I first learned about it. I got caught a couple times by my extremely Christian parents and got a few furious lectures, so just be careful where you interact and look at things about witchcraft and remember that there are some things your parents can see. I’m now 18 and I have an iPad entirely under my own control now where they cannot see anything of what I do beyond somehow knowing that I am using the internet, and it is a huge relief and now I can be more open about my craft with myself. It is worth the wait, I promise! And soon, I’ll be moving into my best friend’s place with his grandparents and he’s a witch as well, so I’ll get to be much more open and relaxed about the craft and get to start actually practicing it. You’ll get there eventually too, just have patience and be aware of what your parents might see!)
(also living in a christian household, i feel)
I just found out Irish pagan bards are still a thing and still telling new stories of the gods and retelling old ones and I just jaasjfhlkajfndsfhl i wanna do thatttt
immediately zooms to a new tab to look this up I mean, knew Nordic traditions were making a comeback and that music is food for my soul, but I NEED TO SEE THIS.

This guy is a bard for The Dagda (the good god), his Irish patron deity
WHAAAAAAAAAAT Dude I'm all about this.
big same. I love the old stories, but they're all pretty mixed up and have been tainted by forced Christianization. I love that there's still a living tradition.
Ew Christians. love the teachings not so much what the people have done with it. ANYWAYS. I definitely agree. I'll have to get out my guitar, and start telling some stories myself.
I’m always disappointed when I notice that other cultures and religions have been watered down or changed because of freakin’ Christianity. It always makes me so upset and slightly angry that things that were such an inherent part of a culture were wrecked because of a religion that has forced itself on people in the past, and even now sometimes does so still.
Here's looking at you door knockers. THOUGH! There is one really good christian movie called Dogma that pretty much craps all over christianity and points out every damn thing wrong with it, while still being hilarious, a bit gruesome and really entertaining. It has Alannis Morsitte in it as God and the voice actor for Morty from Madagascar. I'd suggest watching it. Has amazing actors in it, it's really creative, and is just REALLY good.

me over here wondering if I can manage to a flute and start playing again…. I kinda want to get a violin and learn that, because music from the violin always makes me… I don’t know how to describe it… energized yet calm and focused at the same time somehow. I feel like I could use it in my personal spells….
Here's looking at you door knockers.
Eesh, those are the worst….

It got so bad we had to put a sign up on our door just to stop them. I live between 3 christian churches and one of them is a private school. And they're ALL a 5 minute walk from me. Talk about Karen Central. SO much trump.
Also, I just found out that if you look up “religious holidays on September 21-22” Mabon is NOWHERE to be seen. sighs Why does witchcraft have to be so underground….? Like I understand that a lot of people are bitches to witches because of all the stigma surrounding the craft, but come ON! IT’S GOOGLE SEARCH!
…I just had a moment where I realized my mother (my extremely, violently, Christian mother) had accidentally given me a tree of life necklace for my 16th birthday….
Hehe, that's neat. I tried to sneak a celtic cross on my door for protection and holiness and stuff. It looked pretty, and I made it out of twigs. But my mom very swiftly identified it and said:
"this is [shudders, and continues with absolute disgust] p a g a n"
And I played dumb like "reAlLy? I just thought it was a Jesus thing like the rest of the crosses in the house…"
So she went on a rant about how it's a "demonic" symbol and whatnot, so I had to take it down.
She's really trained her eye to look for witchy/pagan/"evil" things. Even before I was a witch I always felt like my mom was on a witch-hunt.
Wait, a celtic cross is pagan? I had one on a cake for my communion, and I grew up in a community with a lot of irish americans and irish immigrants, and there were celtic crosses everywhere, including a few hung in the church.
Yeah, my whole family is Irish immigrants but every since they converted from catholic to evangelical they purged all the pagan symbols and traditions that tagged along. The celtic cross is used in Irish Christian tradition, but it was used in pagan rituals before the Catholics converted them. The cross with the little circle on it has been lingering in Ireland long before St. Patrick. Some say it represents the four elements, the four cardinal directions, a sun God, or a general holy symbol. It's found over pagan/catholic holy wells.
