I've used that one before, fun fact: Takes a really long time. But it's worth it.

Also, guys. I know curses are bad, but what about saying “you’re curse will come about in 3 days” to psychologically screw with someone you want to curse but won’t actually, is that still considered cursing and leaves you vulnerable for a karma-like return of energy?

Eh just don't. Don't screw with anyone period.

Curses/hexes aren't always bad, it just depends on your stance, experience level, form… Etc. But I agree that just saying it is kinda messed up.

@berlioz

I don't buy into the Threefold Rule, saying that whatever you put out will come back to you threefold. I do however buy that if you are wrong about who you're hexing, if you're motives are corrupt, or you overdo the curse, then it'll backfire on you.

Hexes and curses need to be thoroughly thought through before done.

@croccin-champagne

oh definitely, you don't want to do too much, or have it turn out to be misplaced/guided anger, or anything like that. i like to think of it in the way martial arts instructors make their students think

with martial arts, knowing it gives you a step up above any average person. it makes you stronger than the normal person you'd fight, and therefore, you have to be careful. it's a skill and power you need to use responsibly, otherwise you could seriously hurt someone in a way they didn't have a chance to hurt you. so, thinking of practicing that way, you have a step up by having access to things like spellwork. if it's not treated responsibly, and used very carefully in terms of when other people are involved, you could do something seriously bad to someone who doesn't deserve it in the slightest

I don't really have an opionon on them.
I vibe with the rule of three, but it's kinda like the curse would be someone's shit returning to them charged with the pain they caused.

@berlioz

One of the Gods I'm interested in worshipping is Aengus, Irish god of love, poetic inspiration, and birds. There's a story where he dies of grief because his lover converted to Christianity and I just KNOW that was added to the mythology later to piss off the Christians. But it's also really telling about how some, maybe most of the Irish felt about Christianity.

@Elder-God-Whisper work

I love this god. I now adore this god. I’d have to say, of all the gods, my favorites are Frey and Loki from Norse mythology. Loki because he was non-gender conforming and an absolute maniac and Frey because she literally drove a chariot pulled by giant cats.

@berlioz

Nothing fancy, but I wanna do something. This new (celtic) year will be special for me, since so much has changed. Plus it's a full moon Samhain. Are there any Samhain rituals I should know?

Not really. Great time for (SAFE) spirit work, fae work, protection magick/spells, sex magick/spells, and power magick/spells.

@Elder-God-Whisper work

I’m not entirely sure what I’m going to do, because I’m not sure what I’ll be ABLE to do. What I would like to do is bake soul cakes, light a candle for my ancestors, and do a spell for the witch’s New Year with my fae-blooded best friend. And probably do a mini evening feast/picnic-thing in honor of my beginning a new chapter of my life. That’s what I’d LIKE to do, anyways…

@berlioz

When you adore on a deep level all of the gods in your pantheon and you don't know who (or,,, how to for that matter) approach first
