I'm sorry okay lemme rant
So in passing period I was at my locker and he was walking past, and as he was walking past he tapped me on the shoulder and said 'hello' and walked off and agh. I don't know why my heart is beating so fast after that but goddddddddddddddddd.

Okay! My advice is to enjoy this crush while you still have her. I know a lot of my friends will try to talk themselves out of having a crush because they think they'll be crushed by disappointment and depression in the end, but I like to savor crushes while I have them, because most of the time crushes = happy.

Yeah, I've missed having a crush on someone. It's the thrill of seeing them come down the corridor and being happy just because they're in the room and trying not get caught looking over at them every other minute

I'm the opposite often with my GF. I'm still learning her and figuring out the best ways to help in different situations. Though, I have made a bad day much better for her by pulling out Swedish Fish and orange soda. (Both her absolute favorites) And when she was a kid, the no-nerves problem was even worse. She once had stepped on a nail, it impaled her foot, and she didn't realize until there was blood squishing from her foot as she walked.

That's kind of bad. So like absolutely no nerve feelings? Elias is exactly the opposite. He feels everything, he just chooses not to show it. He also has really quick reflexes. (As do I, but I have practiced to make mine better, sports) but his are almost too quick. I can see things quite before they happen, like foresight, about like a second or 2, I can tell if someone is gonna fall, or I can read expressions real well. His equivalent of foresight to him, is that he hears things extremely well. It's real scary. Plus, it's kind of like his gut feeling, but not like his gut feeling, like he says some stuff to make me think he's been around a lot longer than anyone. Like a cracked frozen lake? I get it I've seen this before, don't step there, and he tosses a rock and literally the whole area where he threw the rock falls away. It's like real weird.

She's gorgeous though so… I don't mind thinking about her all the time. And she's really sweet. And that smile.

I love how pretty much everyone here has made progress with their crush and here I am, a weird junior girl who is hurting because the senior who I've talked to like ten times ever asked someone to hoco. Probably just the fact that the girl is kinda basic. Blonde hair, blue eyes, athletic, and plays soccer. (If you fall into that description I'm sorry I'm sure you are amazing!) But in my opinion, she's nothing like him. He is crazy good at acting and singing and musical things like that while all she does is kick a ball around all day. Come on son! He deserves someone who can sing broadway songs with him in the car, and act out entire movie scenes, and play a piano duet with him. I need to stop myself because there's a high chance that he just asked her because she probably hinted or even asked him to ask her. And they aren't dating! They're obviously just friends, right? RIGHT!? I'm really hoping that's the case… Gosh darn it why do I like him so much!? Oh, I know why, because he's an angel that literally just dropped from the heavens to tear apart my heart in the cutest way.
(Why do all my posts on this thread turn into novels…?)
(Also, I offered to buy a replica of his head for $13 dollars today. Wonderful.)

@Oakiin

Someone explain crushes to me please, I'm ace/aro, and I really don't understand, but I'd like to! xD Teach me with your experiences that I will never have xD

Oh, crushes are basically the best and worst thing to happen to mankind. If you've been on a rollercoaster, you know that butterfly feeling you get when you go off a big drop. Yeah, well around a crush, or just talking about them, you get mini butterflies like that in your stomach. And usually the room suddenly feels oddly warm, making you wonder if someone turned on the heat, or someone is just radiating heat. Oh, and your brain goes all mushy. Like, right after a long test or during one it becomes hard to think up coherent sentences. That's what happens around a crush. You usually say stuff you don't mean to, and end up embarrassing yourself. If you saw Avengers Endgame, you probably couldn't stop thinking and rethinking about that ending. Just replace that ending with the face or actions of one specific person. A cycling roll of thoughts that just keep swirling around in your brain like flies. And if you admire someone, that's how you usually feel about your crush. You can't help but notice the smallest things they do and you are just like, "Wow, this person is human? I don't believe it." I could go on and on about what it's like to have a crush.
