Have done that a lot of times but he has started to not respond (also he has a girlfriend already so yeah that sucks a hella lot but hey it's summer so no sad faces)

@Pickles group

I ended up texting a guy for like two and a half hours and it started with me asking about his new car. And eventually we got around to what I really wanted to talk about (whether or not he liked my friend. The answer was no)
So I recommend that if they have one

@CWPoofToxicRush

Context: I chickened out of talking to my crush again and my friend threatened to tell her. Email exchange followed next period.

Me:
Friend's full nameI swear to fucking JOEY GODDAMNED RAMONE IF YOU TELL ANYONE I WILL SLAUGHTER YOU

Friend:

Me:

Friend:
ALSO YOU SPELLED MY LAST NAME WRONG !! ITS C O R R E C T S P E L L I N G

Me:
HECK OFF I WROTE IT IN A RUSH IN ENGLISH

@bubblegum

My method of dating someone goes like this.

  1. Get their number for a random, but plausible, reason. Some good excuses: "I need help with something," "Do you know anything about this?", "I was wondering about," etc. Or, ask about them, "So you work with artillery?" "Don't you play DJ? That's so cool!" "What's life like in Portugal?" etc.
  2. Keep these gigs going in real life.
  3. Once you get to the stage where you can start easing into flirting, go for it. Slower but meaningful things such as, "Do you put anything in your hair? It's super fluffy," "Do you want gum tomorrow? You know, to pay you back for this," "When's your concert date? I want to hear you play," etc.
  4. In the meantime, keep this going in real life as well. More physical things such as ruffling their hair, elbowing/kicking them lightly, etc.
  5. You can start asking about their crushes as well. "Do you like anyone? Just wondering," "I'm curious - do you like —-? I was getting vibes you did but wasn't sure…" etc.
  6. I usually ask people out over text bcz I'm a wimp, but it's cuter and more meaningful to do so in person.

get over him honey
delete his number and forget abt him and just chill the whole summer. who knows, you might meet someone else!

I'm not gonna delete his number (cause I still wanna be friends with him) but yeah, Imma try to get over him. It's not very likely that I will meet someone else though since I will spend the entire summer with my family but I can always hope for it…

Omg. I'm late to this convo but. Ya'll. Are so. Cute.

Whisper and YK, I'm happy that things kinda worked out for both of you. Relsey, that guys seems so hecking amazing that I can't even gah. And Ann O. Ymous, he seems cute as heck so yeah go for it.

All I can say about my own crush right now is that school ends for me tomorrow and he is in my class which means that I wont see him for the entire summer and that's sad.

thanks!

same here! I always thought it was natural or something for your parents to have a big age difference until I was around six or seven. I asked my dad and he said my mom always said she was going to die young or something. He also said something else that it's the anxiety that's really killing her now, so…

i never thought it was natural bc my mom and dad are 2 months apart…

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

My best friend has a crush who apparently likes her back.
Just one problem, both of them have parents with an extremely strict "no dating until you're 18 or older" rule, and they're 13 and 15…

OMG!! that would be a fun experience except for the rule…that's kind of a dumb rule tbh (im not trying to be mean just being giving my honest opinion)

@Pickles group

I feel like if you let your kid date when they're a teen, they'll either be fine or have a terrible experience and not want to date (me. that's me)

@hollow-boned

my parents let me date cis dudes and i also dated girls and trans dudes behind their back and all i have to say is i've been violently emotionally and a bit physically abused but am at the height of happiness in the most supportive relationship i've ever been in (nOT with a cis dude)
so ig dating in general is just a coin toss as to who might come your way, regardless of age

@hollow-boned

can i just agree?

y e a
what's ur experience w cis dudes Disappointing YouTM cuz i have had about 7 exes and three dudes that were interested in me/dated me/ were briefly involved w me and i have A Lot of stories

@hollow-boned

wow this is making me not wanna date anyone…..(i never have yet..)

it's not as bad as it seems lmao
altho if u date cishet dudes i suggest u wait a while or be very picky bc 90 percent of them are literal children up until like 20+ yrs
