Lucky walked up to the group of people.
Lucky walked up to the group of people.
(Yeah Scipio sorta wishes his father was dead sometimes. He's close enough to it anyhow)
Scipio nodded. "My parents would have been angry if I hadn't received a letter, but they always expected it. My mother is still supportive, but my father…" The very thought of his father seemed to instill some sort of strong emotion in Scipio akin to anger, or disgust. "Well, not all wizards are good. I'll say that much."
Corinne stood up suddenly and wiped her eyes. "I should go." she said, and walked away abruptly, book tucked under one arm.
(I feel like Scipio probably wouldn't have given very many details about his father to Allegra or Eleanor)
"Wait, you don't have to leave! Have I upset you? I'm sorry, I have a tendency to ramble." Scipio said hurriedly. He hated to think that he might've deterred someone else away, considering it was his job to help others and make himself accessible as a prefect.
It was too late. Corinne had walked into the castle.
Scipio sighed in defeat, watching Corinne go. "Well, now I've done it… whatever it is."
Lucky patted Scipio on the back "I'm sorry dude." she said
"Was it me mentioning my father? Maybe I'm not the only one who hates the mere thought of that man…"
"Nah dude, I think talking about such a depressing matter made her upset. She mentioned a car accident." lucky replied
"But then why did she leave? She was the one who brought it up after all. If I didn't upset her then why would she run away?"
"Sometimes people run away rather than show emotions. She may have mentioned that accidenty." she said
Scipio sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose in frustration. "Is that a girl thing? I try hard to not let my emotions control me, and try to come up with the most logical solution to a problem before acting. It's not foolproof of course, but it makes me considerably more difficult to offend."
Corinne went up to the Ravenclaw tower. She shouldn't have run away like that. It was downright rude. She paused in front of the Ravenclaw knocker. The knocker in the shape of a raven yawned and asked, "In the morning I walk on four legs, in the afternoon two-"
"Stages of a man's life." Corinne cut it off quickly. The door opened and she dashed upstairs to her dorm. She grabbed her broomstick and threw her book open on the bed. Then she left the tower. The book she was reading was called, "Muggle Torture and How to Stop It"
(Hello?)
"Some people bottle things up for too long until they don't have anymore room, that's when their true colours show." Lucky said before walking towards the castle
Scipio watched Lucky leave, considering what she had said. Is that going to happen to me? Living in denial and trying to ignore emotions for so long… I hope I can handle it…
Corinne ran out the door to the Quidditch Pitch. She climbed on her broom and flew into the air. It was exhilarating. When she was up in the air, it felt like no worries could reach her. Nothing could take her down when she was flying.
(Scipio: Why am I the only one who can't fly)
(Corinne is a chaser on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team)
(Hello?)
(Hi idk what to do I'm kinda waiting for Lavender or Sly)
(Are they not on?)
(Idk even if they are they're not here all the time)
(Maybe if we yell loud enough they will hear us.)
(SLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY)
