Alex shrugged, "One time I put shaving cream in Shiro's pillow before he fell asleep. It went all over him and his bed and took him forever to clean."
Alex shrugged, "One time I put shaving cream in Shiro's pillow before he fell asleep. It went all over him and his bed and took him forever to clean."
Cammy snorted, the comment so sudden and strange coming from him that it startled her. "You-dios mio, really?"
Alex cracked a smile, "Yup. He got so mad at me it was hilarious."
"Remind me to watch my pillows carefully." Cammy joked, bumping him with her hip as she let out a laugh.
Alex raised his hands in defense, "I would never. I don't even think I can get shaving cream in space."
"There's gotta be a space equivalent, right?" Cammy raised an eyebrow, grinning. "I'm holding out hope that there's a space-version of everything."
Alex chuckled, “I want to find a cool space knife somewhere. I’m not so bothered about space shaving cream.”
"Well, I'm making a list." Cammy decided, grinning. She wasn't quite sure why, but she was slightly proud at herself for getting anything close to a laugh from him. "Shaving cream, possibly cigarettes, though this is the perfect chance to quit. And probably concealer."
"I don't know why you smoke," Alex sighed, running a hand through his hair, "I… I hate it…" Maybe because it related to things in his past but she didn't need to know that right now.
"One of my foster fathers did." Cammy said, shrugging a shoulder. "I guess the second hand smoke got to me." Not quite the truth. In reality, the man had pressured her into an addiction, for whatever reason.
Alex nodded a little, "Yeah… my dad smoked, too…" Just a little bit of truth. It wasn't much and Cammy might not know it but that fact was something he wouldn't tell people he didn't trust. And well, he trusted her enough to tell her.
Cammy wrinkled her nose, though her eyes did flicker over to him. "I used to not be able to stand the smell of cigarette smoke, can you believe? And now, just talking about them is making me want to light one up."
"I can't be in the same room as someone who's smoking. Not now and probably not ever." Alex replied. He rolled out his shoulders, trying to not look so tense.
"I'll try and keep 'em outside then." Cammy promised casually, fiddling with one of her bracelets. "Seriously, if I ever forget, just let me know. I'm not a bitch all the time, y'know."
Alex nodded, looking over and offering a small smile, "I know. Thanks, I appreciate it." She probably wouldn't understand how much but he didn't care.
"Hey, we all got our things." Cammy said, nudging him with her shoulder as she returned the smile. "Scented soap."
Alex raised a brow with an amused smile, "Scented soap?" His head tilted to the side.
"Can't do it. The smell, seeing it, anything. Can't stand the stuff." Cammy answered, pulling her bag around to dig through it, pulling out a ziploc bag with a plain bar of soap in it. "I started carrying the damn thing around, because apparently everyone likes scented soap."
Alex let out a small laugh, shaking his head in disbelief, "Damn, I was not expecting that. What other random things you go tin that bag then, huh?"
"All sorts of things. Name a thing, and chances are I have it in here. Obviously, not something like a printer, but yeah." Cammy said, something warming in her chest at his laugh. "Go on, pick an item."
Alex shrugged a shoulder, crossing his arms over his chest, "Uh… a spork?" He raised a brow, a smile now permanent on his lips.
Cammy stuck her tongue out slightly as she dug around, eventually pulling out a plastic spork with a triumphant look. "Yup. And yeah, I got a spoon and fork in here too, somewhere."
Alex let out another laugh, "Wow… that's actually pretty impressive. So you just collect random things you think would be useful and stick them in your bag?"
"Things I know would be useful." Cammy corrected, digging around. "I've got snacks, 'cause Pidgeot forgets to eat when he gets in that weird sciencey head space. My wine, a water bottle, too many pairs of fucking earbuds, Hunk's recipe book, 'cause reading it helps him calm down, nail polish and makeup, obviously…and like, a shitton of other things."
Alex peered into the bag before he pulled away and nodded, "It's nice that you care so much about Hunk and Pidge. I don't know anyone else who'd remember to pack things for them to make sure they're okay."
