She roughly sketched out a necklace. The chain was simple, but the main focus was the swirling dragon holding a seemingly glowing sphere between its body. "Good?" she asked.

He tilted his head. "Y-yeah." It looks exactly like the one on my arm.
"Okay. I'll get started on it." She stood and began rummaging around for materials–mainly ones that wouldn't melt under her intense heat. "You can do whatever while I do that. I'm more of a perfectionist when it comes to my jewelry, so I might take a bit."
"Is there anywhere I can sit?"
She distractedly pointed farther into the building, where an old staircase went both upstairs and downstairs. "My house is upstairs, and the forge is downstairs. Make yourself at home."
He shrugged, choosing to walk upstairs.
The living quarters was simple and sparse, with only a sitting room, small kitchen, bathroom, and three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms looked lived in, while the third was covered with dust and sheets were thrown over furniture.
He walked into the sitting room and settled himself on to the couch, closing his eyes.
Half an hour later, Junia crouched next to Runner and gently shook him awake. "Wakey wakey, sunshine."
He grumbled slightly, yawing as he opened his eyes.
She held up the finished necklace, swinging it in front of his eyes. The dragon was made of a spare dragon scale borrowed from Tessa, expertly carved with every little minor detail. The golden gem glowed slightly from an unknown source, a small bit of heat radiating from it.
"Did you look at my arm or something?" He asked, holding it gently.
"I noticed it. I kinda combined that with Tess's dragon." She pointed at the glowing gem. "That's a sunstone."
"Huh. Is that significant?"
She shrugged. "Symbolizes Tess's connection to the sun, I guess. Plus, it's one of the few stones that can withstand her fire."
"Makes sense." He stood up. "Thank you, you probably kept me from suffering another leech maneuver."
She laughed as she stood too, though she only came up to his shoulders. "Yeah, she's famous for that." She checked the clock. "You still have about an hour before the concert's over."
He rubbed his nose. "Long concert. Well, what now?"
She shrugged. "Not that long. I have work to do around here. The life of a jeweler is not an easy one." She handed him a glass of water she had brought up before waking him. "I could use some assistance if you want. Either that, or you can explore the city. No one's telling you what to do."
"Might as well make myself useful," he said, taking a sip.
"Thanks," she said, heading downstairs. "Come down when you're ready."
He followed her, rubbing his chin.
((Sorry, I have to get a shower))
Even before she reached the workshop she was dishing out orders. "Okay, I need some iron, bronze, silver, amethysts, emeralds, and sapphires. Oh, and a small square of chainmail." She tossed herself into her swivel stool and began sketching. "The boxes are labeled in both Isic and English, so you should be good."
He shrugged, walking over to the boxes and grabbing the iron, bronze, and silver.
The cheering from the crowded concert grew louder. Junia groaned and threw her head back. "Ugh, I can hear them from here! How much you want to bet they're dancing blindfolded?"
