Cinthia–through their soul bond–heard Tessa's pleas and smothered her laugh. I'm giving you two privacy.
Tessa smiled sheepishly. Bitch, she hissed at Cinthia.
Cinthia did get up and walked out of her room, stretching and acting like she couldn't see them and didn't know what was going on.
He looked down at the necklace. "Have you noticed the similarities?"
Tess blinked at the turn in conversation, but was secretly glad of it. "Y'mean it kinda looks like your tattoo is hoarding the sun?" she joked.
He snorted. "Like yours needs any more power."
Tessa grinned wickedly. "My power is the sun." She tapped his nose. "So I guess that means you're hoarding me."
Cinthia glanced over at them, internally gagging. "Nice to see you two are getting cozy."
He turned to Cin. "This is random as hell, but is tonight a full moon?"
"Er, yeah. Fenris has been flipping out about it all week." Cinthia tilted her head. "Why?"
He turned to Tessie, smiling widely. "You wanna see something?"
She beamed. "Yesss!"
Cinthia rolled her eyes with a small smile and left.
He pulled away and grabbed her hand. "I didn't want to show you until I knew you could be trusted….but this tattoo does more than just move."
He began to guide her outside.
She followed, then cringed. "Eh, I'm kinda still sweaty."
They were outside, and Runner pulled away, looking down at his harm for a moment, then his eyes flashed a deep blue. "להתעורר!" Suddenly, his body began to change. He began to grow exponentially, double, triple, quadruple his normal size. His face changed into something akin to a lion's, with long, catlike whiskers and a grey mane His arms fused to his sides, and his legs became a flowing tail that ended like a whip as scales covered his body. Even in the moonlight, it was clear there was no color to the dragon, only shades of black, white and grey. Just like the tattoo on Runner's arm.
((Did the math, it's 23 feet and 8 inches
She stared wide-eyed and open-mouthed at Dragon Runner, already forgetting about her sticky clothes. He's a motherfucking shifter too. "Well… damn."
((Tess still beats him, but she's heavier than him in her dragon form. She's around 100 feet long and 25 feet wide without wings; two sets of wings to hold her weight))
He/It twisted in the air, spinning and curling like a string dancer's pole. It's body, even at its thickest, was no bigger than Runner's shoulders, giving it the appearance that it was much longer than it really was.
She grinned. "See, you can dance." Lucky bastard can move better than I can in dragon form.
He let out a laughed that sounded more like a roar, rasping out in a voice that sounded like sandpaper, "Wanna race?"
She placed her hands on her hips. "With me completely shifted or partially?"
"Your choice." His body continued to wiggle, never standing still.
Hmm. Fully shouldn't hurt. She turned into a raging inferno that was soon replaced by a golden 100 foot long, 25 foot wide dragon with two sets of large wings. It's body was stocky and heavily muscled as well as armored, rectangular face framed by large, pointed horns.
((He'll weigh jack shit, just so he'll be more mobile
He danced around her body, weaving in between her wings and around her head. "War dragon, I see."
((Exactly, but she can move pretty far in a short amount of time if it's a straight shot))
"Sun" she rumbled, watching him. "They're big bastards."
"Ah, but the moon rises much quicker than the sun does, yes?" he teased, his whiskers brushing lightly against her jaw as he twirled past.
