Mechanium was gem that was used by those who wished to build mechanical creatures and objects to do their bidding, as it was the perfect power source.

Cybernium was used by those who wished to use technology to improve themselves, it had the unique ability to fuse technology into flesh, making the user, one with machine.

Two magical gems are commonly found throughout the land, and they can be used to grant powers to those that use them.

Arcanium was used by mages who wished to infuse themselves with magic, as the gems could channel magical energy into living creatures.

Thaumium was used by those who wished to create magical objects and constructs, as it able to channel mana into different objects.

Reality appears to be normal, but if someone were to delve deep enough into magic or technology, they would see that this is not completely true.
