The closest thing he has to a religion are his studies into the ancient civilization the existed eons before recorded history.

Thirteen years before the ancient seal shattered, his parents brought him before the Arcanium when he was but four years old. The souls stored in the Arcanium saw the potential that he had and selected him to be one of the five heroes. He was sent to a training facility with the other chosen ones, where he learned to control the magic that he had been infused with. His father died after a Shadownian druggy mutated and attacked the city police force, and his mother died several months later when she gave birth to his sister, who now stayed with him at the training facility. On the day that the seal was meant to break, he and his sister departed the city to prepare for what lie ahead.
