Life Force

Found exclusively in the Soul, life force is a potent Magical Energy that, as its name implies, supplies the power to keep life going. It is arguably the most important portion of the soul, and serves as the base pool in which other Soul Cores are left free-floating. The soul is constantly duplicating pure life force and sending it through the Energy Channels. Different parts of the body consume it in order to keep running continuously.

Life force has a sparkling silver color and glows brightly when exposed to the air. It is cool to the touch, even when pure, so that it can travel safely through the body without wasting valuable time on dilution.

Casting Spells too frequently or sending out too much energy at once can lead to Magical Fatigue, which slows the flow of life force. If the flow is weakened for prolonged periods of time or completely interrupted, internal organs may begin to fail, leading to all manner of physical ailments.

When mixed with Elemental Energy, life force makes spells much more powerful, and for this reason it is sometimes used in Trinity spells to provide the backbone of their explosive force.
