Artificial Soul Creation

Creating a new Soul from scratch is the most difficult form of Soul Control magic. New souls are naturally created during an unborn child's development, but it is possible to create artificial life by building a soul by oneself.

To create a new soul, one must first collect old ones. They do not necessarily have to be retrieved from a living body as long as all needed components are still present. Desired pieces are extracted from each soul, then placed in some kind of container for temporary storage, usually a Crystal as they are naturally suited for holding energy. The Light and Darkness for the morality cores need to be stored separately from each other, so they don't cancel each other out before they can be put into the new soul.

Once all needed energy is gathered, the caster first retrieves the Life Force, and then carefully places the chosen cores in their proper places. The entire process must be done by hand as complete control of all energy involved is required to keep the new soul from falling apart. After the soul is completely formed, it is placed into the body of choice. The caster may need to create new Energy Channels by hand if the body has been dead for longer than a few days.

Once everything is in place, the soul should automatically start sending out life energy and the body will begin to function again, assuming all its parts are still in working order. The age of the brain will usually decide the mental age of the being, but any personality the original body had may be lost and in need of reformation.
