Kunlaang
Common, Common Language
Kunlaang started to be developed after a long period of cooperative cohabitation between groups of herbivore and carnivore. The herbivores needed a better way to communicate their intentions with their carnivore companions, and developed the language taking commonalities between the two group's vocal capabilities.
The idea of a common cross-species language was developed independently in multiple places corresponding with the advent of such mutual cooperation. As the language expanded, it developed further, allowing more species to communicate and beginning the rapid development of culture.
The ability to speak the language and speak it well has played a factor in a sort of artificial selection. Communities that had better ability to communicate cross species tended to perform better than those that did not. Furthermore, more adept communication ability benefited individuals, especially carnivores, who performed better than their peers. Good performance was in turn rewarded by the herbivores, who controlled the material aspects of community.
Kunlaang's typology was not developed for several thousand years after its inception.
