Growing up around The Mage Hunters and The Order of the Blue Rose, Rose always felt that the two groups could benefit from working together and that individually they were not doing enough to keep the world safe from malicious magic. She kept those opinions to herself, as voicing them would ensure that neither group wanted her.

The Order picked her up first, seeing her willingness to head out to dangerous places to track magical artifacts as being exactly what they wanted. From there Rose began to worm her way up, using everything at her disposal to get there. And then she was given the opportunity of a lifetime when one of the Order's members stole several artifacts and ran off. Their pupil was sent to bring them back and failed, and said pupil then also decided to leave the Order as a whole.

Rose was quick to blame failures in the leadership for the incident, and many others agreed with her. She was able to unseat the leader and step into that role herself, and she replaced the high council as well. Then she formed an alliance with the Mage Hunters and started pushing the Order more towards those same goals...
