Growing up in Lost Bell, Zara saw plenty of what happened when people misused magic and more when it came to many not knowing their limits and doing things that were well beyond them. Not just the effects they suffered but how it bled out into the world around them and caused others to suffer too. It wasn't too much of a surprise when the young woman took off to Bauller's Gae to attempt to join The Mage Hunters, but it was a surprise when she ended up with The Order of the Blue Rose instead.

Mostly Zara tried to push them to being more like the Mage Hunters, or at least teaming up together, though her words often fell on deaf ears. When Rose took over, however, she instated Zara as one of the Order's masters and the lead liaison between them and the Mage Hunters like she always wanted so they could figure out how to work together towards their common goals.
