(omg are we all here?)
(omg are we all here?)
(If Carys is still here, then yee ^^ )
(that would be too good true)
(Seems so….)
(Sorry, I’m here!!!!)
(Are you both here?)
(I am, although I have to leave in about a half hour ^^)
(Same)
(kk. I think it's your turn?)
(not same but I'm here anyhow)
The whole room smelled of dust and old books, the light from the windows lit up the dust particles in the air. “Wow.” I said as I walked a little further into the room.
"Isn't it lovely?" the boy bragged. "Every kind of book you can imagine, and new ones every month. I prefer the historical fiction myself." He strolled casually down the nearest aisle. "Not that I spend much time in here normally. My duties keep me very busy. It may surprise you, but I am one of Blake's most valuable employ….." His words withered in his throat.
There was a shadow slicing through the sunlight at the end of the aisle. A tall, thin shadow. It stirred, moved forward. It's owner stepped into view.
Blake slowly closed the book he'd been reading and turned to look at you. The air around him was dull and grey.
"And what," he said softly, "Do you think you are doing here?"
It took me a minute to regain my composure. “I was taking a look around, if I am to spend the rest of my life here then I would at least like to know the place.” I smiled sweetly at Blake, trying to look as innocent as possible.
He didn't return the smile. "Your lies are charming, but today I don't have time for them. I ordered you to stay in your room until you were needed."
He looked at the blond boy, who quailed under his gaze. "Sebastian. Kindly leave the two of us and return to your post, please. I did not ask you to enter the house yet."
Sebastian stammered for a second, then bowed and teleported away.
(I have to go after this)
(Okie, same bye)
I left my smile fade as Blake drew closer to me, but I kept up my confident stance
"As we speak," Blake said, "Sorina is being punished severely for killing the demon. I miscalculated when I allowed them to fight. But rest assured, I won't miscalculate again. You are a rather clever, determined girl, and your magic is stronger than ever, so you may imagine that you have some power over your situation. Allow me to enlighten you." He leaned forward. "You do not. Go against my orders once more and I won't hesitate to punish you as well. Is that clear?"
I smiled again, “Crystal.” I turned around and made my way to the door, turning around at the last second to smile once more, leaving him slightly confused as to way I was so happy when he had just threatened me. As I left the room my smile faded, now I had to find the boys.
(I can't stay, company coming soon)
As you entered the corridor, you noticed that the house had suddenly become very quiet. Nothing moved. Outside a nearby window, a forest of leafless trees thrashed and swayed in a fierce windstorm, but you couldn't hear the slightest whisper through the glass. The effect was faintly unnerving.
(Ok, I only have half a hour anyway)
I moved quietly back in the direction of my room, so if anyone saw me then it looked like I was heading there. I passed back the way I came until I rounded a corner to see a split hallway. On my left went to my room and the right , who knows where. I took the right one.
(I'm back ^^ By the way, I think we should have the two groups meet fairly soon. Maybe if @Amber gets on later today, we could switch back to them, finish up that scene, and then merge them so we don't have to make somebody wait around anymore)
The hallway led to a door emblazoned with a silver emblem made of graceful crescents and circles. It was unlocked, and beyond it, the hallway looked strange, with black walls that gleamed like polished obsidian in the dim overhead light.
(Good idea)
I crept thought it, keeping to the shadows by the wall. The lights flickered, making it even creepier then it already was. No sound came form either end of the halls.
Then, something shifted in the blackness. And you realized that the walls weren't dark stone. They were glass. And beyond them was the cold, empty void of Outer Space.
A mammoth shape, made of shifting points of multicolored light, was slowly drifting past you. It seemed almost in the shape of a human, but more nebulous. Two blank silver eyes gazed at you from the misty face.
(I’ve gotta go, be back soon)
I shook my head and moved to the other door. It was black, like the others, and very heavy. It took a few tires to opened but when it did, it led back into the houses old fashioned corridors.
(Ok)
You wandered like this for some time, trying doors, peering through windows, and pausing once in a while to listen for anyone approaching. But the house seemed completely empty, and the passage led nowhere. You began to feel as if you'd entered another dimension, a maze-like netherworld that didn't seem to have an end.
Finally, after what seemed like hours, you opened a door and found something different. This room was bright and sunny, painted blue and white. It was littered with books and children's toys, and the air smelled like baking bread. Sitting in the center of the room, carefully studying a miniature globe, was a little girl, maybe six years old. She had long blonde hair and dark green eyes, and was wearing a long-sleeved black dress. She looked up curiously when you opened the door.
(Back, don’t know how long for though)
“He..hello,” I said cautiously, “What are you doing?”
