"Oh." He pauses, thinking it over. "That's not right." he glowered at some point in the distance. "If anybody tries to hurt you again, I'll deal with 'em. But don't worry–" now he turned and smiled at you, a rare moment in which his face cleared and he looked almost adorable. "just because that happened doesn't make you a bad person. I like you, anyway."
I smiled back at him. “You’re not to bad yourself” I made a dingo again and sent it running round him
He jumped down and chased it, barking playfully.
I giggled then made it disappear
"It's so weird how you can do that." He yawned and stretched. "So now what do we do? I still have no idea how I ended up here, or how to get back."
“Me neither. And I still wanna know where Nathan is. He said he would be here when i got back.” I was starting to get a little worried about him. Where has he gone?
"Hmmph. Maybe we should look for him out in the forest. The sun's coming up."
“Yeah, but what if we don’t find him?”
"I'm not sure." Crash opened the door, letting in early morning light. "you ready?"
“Yeah” i made my way out the door.
It's a lovely morning. Crash sneezed at the bright light, then set off around the lake, headed for the trees. "How's your sense of smell?"
“Normal for a human” I said. I followed him.
"Darn it. I was hoping you could help me track him…oh well. Shouldn't be too hard." He pushed through the first layer of undergrowth, hunting for a path. "Hey, just wondering, do you have any pets around here? I know humans have those sometimes."
“No I don’t.” I made an orb in one hand and sent it up into the air and it went wizzing around. “I can see what it see so I can help in some way” I said.
"Thanks. I'm just making sure because I might need a snack at some point and I don't wanna eat anything important."
I rolled my eyes for the hundredth time. “Come one lets go find him”
"All right. Hey, here's some tracks." He bent down and examined the ground. "Not sure if they belong to him, but it's better then nothing."
I followed Crash as he set off following the tracks hoping and praying they would led us to Nathan.
He followed them for quite a while, weaving through the bushes and gradually ascending the slope. Finally around mid-morning, he stops. "Whoops, I lost them. Lost the scent, too, that's weird. He must have disappeared or something."
“God damn it!” I cried “WHERE ON GODS GREEN EARTH COULD THIS BOY BE!!!!!” I screamed. I threw my hands out forward and it hit a tree and made burn marks on it and collapsed. “He said he would be there. he said i had control of my magic but I dont. I knew he though i was a danger. I.. I” I hung my head. “I’m a monster” I whispered
Crash looked alarmed. "Hey…uh….don't be sad. It's okay. He doesn't think you're a monster, I know it." He crouched down next to you, looking a bit lost. "Maybe we should give up looking for him for now and find you some food. I'll bet you're hungry…."
“You go Crash, I know you’re not used to this.” I said “I’ll meet you at the house” I stayed collapsed on the ground
He shifted into a dingo and paced in agitation for a minute. Then he shifted back and sighed. "Okay, wait here. I'm going to find you some food." He left, muttering something about berries.
“why am I like this” I muttered “why can’t I have normal magic, why darkness, why?” I sobbed
Just then there came the sound of a voice. It wasn't Crash. "Maddie?"
