"It's a simple glamour spell, courtesy of Lillian here." He gestured to Crash. "Follow." he told him.
He walked through an archway to the fridge, where he kept food for varied species. He opened the door. "Help yourself to the deer, just try not to mess everything up."
"Mmmm." Crash took out an entire leg, gave it a coating of frost for flavor, and began to eat it raw.
“But why? What did you think I was gonna do kick you out? Why hide?” I made a wolf with my magic but then it’s eyes turned red and it snarled. I quickly made it disappear trying not to remember. “Why”i said agin to take my mind off it.
Nathan shrugged, looking away from Crash devouring the deer leg. "It was just safer. This way, only the people we want to know about it know. You know?" he looked to Lillian. "Call them, please." she nodded and scurried away.
(I have to go have supper now, sorry. see ya!)
I got up from the chair and walked over to the window. I made a blossom with myself. “You know” I said “You are the first person who hasn’t been scared of me or tried to kill or hurt me” the images of my past ran through my head and I fell backwards.
Nathan caught Maddie as she stumbled backwards. "I have my own experiences with outcasts." he assured, names and faces flashing before his eyes.
I smiled faintly at him but then remembered who I was, and what I could do.
“I’m so sorry Nathan. I shouldn’t have come here, I’m a Danger to you and your girlfriend.”I moved away and hugged myself. “ I’m so sorry”
Nathan smiled gently. "Don't apologize. No one can find this place. Anyway, me and Lillian have had our fair share of danger, take my word for it. We can deal with another danger." he reassured Maddie. "You're safer here than most places."
“I’m sorry” I said I walked past him and out the door. There was a lake not far from here. I found the lake and collapsed on the edge. I looked at myself. I’m a danger to everyone I said to my self.
Nathan hesitated before following her to the water. "You know, there was a time I was so unstable I convinced myself I was a threat to everyone. I was eventually talked out of it, and I realize now it didn't do anyone any good." he said quietly, sitting down a little ways behind her.
“But your magic isn’t like mine. To be able to control darkness is seen as a threat” I made a dragon figure over the lake then crush it in two. “You had someone there for you. I didn’t, they.. did things to me. and no one came to help beacuse I was a danger.” I let out a sob
"Look at you now. You can control it perfectly. Obviously what they did was… horrible, but you got past it and you're stronger because of it. I'm not saying it's easy, in any way, but getting past that on your own takes a lot of resolve."
I took off my shoes and walked into the water. “I guess your right” I said.i took a deep breath and went under the water. I shot up a spurt of blackness that entwined with the water forming a shimmering wyvern. I came back up and smiled faintly.
(Hey here.)you guys left my character in the park..)
(Sorry, it’s Mila turn since we are having a convo. There is a character you might be able to use but you will have to ask Mila if you can)
(I will just add my character in the scene.)somehow.)
(Yeah, you can read the scene that we just did that needs to be continued to get a understanding of what is happening)
Nathan watched as Maddie swam, darkness rippling in the water. It felt strangely familiar, the quiet and the setting and the magic. He smiled at Maddie and waved her over. "I have to get back to the safe house, make sure Crash hasn't done anything stupid. See you there later?" he asked.
“Yeah” i made a small dragon with my magic and sent it flying round him. I ducked back into the water
I made one last spurt of water and darkness into the air and this time i created waterfall with flowers growing around it. I lowered it into the water and let it spread all over the water and swam all around diving and flipping. i felt at peace for once.
You looked up to see that Crash had finished eating. He saw you playing in the water and brightened. "Oh good, a lake." He shape-shifted into the form of a black dingo and dove into the water, splashing around contentedly.
