Nathan nodded. "Like Charlotte," he muttered. His eyes welled up, but he blinked it back. "So you keep the balance around these parts?"
Nathan nodded. "Like Charlotte," he muttered. His eyes welled up, but he blinked it back. "So you keep the balance around these parts?"
I was confused at the mention of the name Charlotte, but I kept going. “Yeah. I haven’t seen another magic user for a while and there wasn’t a spirt protection these parts so I kinda just took over” I said
"Good on you. Well, you could join us if you like. I'm just getting Crash over here someplace safe." He lowered his voice. "He's a demon."
“Wow. Have seen one of those for a while” i said and looked him up and down. “Come with me” i started to walk off
"Maddie, wait!" he called after her. "I have a designated safe house; the people there will know how to deal with him."
Crash frowned. "Wait, I thought we were–squirrel!" he dashes off after the offending rodent.
“Fine let’s go there then” I said
Nathan conjured up a quick gust of wind that dragged Crash back to them, and they set off into the darkened streets.
Crash had, in fact, caught the squirrel already, and now he swallowed it whole. "So, this safe house. Are you the only one that lives there?"
"No, I'm not. There used to be 6 of us. Now it's two." It was quiet around as they zigzagged their way to the building. After a good 10 minutes of walking, they got there. "Lillian!" he called out to the narrow wood building.
(are you gone?)
(no, sorry, I wasn't sure if you were done)
"Huh," Crash said, frowning as he thought that over.
(I’m here)
I stayed next to Nathan as he cried out to another girl. I was so tempted to create some darkness to hide in but I don’t.
(is it ok if I temporarily have 2 ocs?)
Lillian's head popped out of the top window. A grin of relief split her face. She retreated and appeared a few minutes later, opening the door for them. She threw her arms around Nathan, and he returned the embrace. "Sorry I was gone so long." he murmured into her auburn hair.
"Don't worry about it." She looked past him. "Who is this?"
(It's fine by me)
(k thanks)
(shouldn't we wait for @shuriken or something?)
(it might be wise not to, since there's almost no one online atm. They can join if they arrive though)
(he's leading tho idk)
(We've been going for quite some time without him, that's all I know)
(yeah ig)
Nathan presented both companions, then led everyone inside. He threw his coat onto the wooden counter lining the wall. He leaned against the rafter. "Come on in, guys."
Crash entered reluctantly. "I don't smell any deer…"
“Nathan care to explain why you and your friend live here in my forest?” I crossed my arms and sat in an armchair and slung my legs over the side. “And how you managed to keep it a secret form me?” I started to play with some of my magic.
